Rose Cottage Dental Practice

My partner and I joined Rose Cottage Dental Practice in the early 2000s when we first moved to Sleaford. Not long after, my original dentist retired and I was placed under the care of Mr. Mantle and his dental assistant, Shelly. Over the years we moved around Lincolnshire, yet we always chose to stay with the practice. In 2024 we relocated to North Yorkshire and fully intended to register with a new dentist—until we stopped and asked ourselves… why would we leave? This practice is exceptional. It’s modern, spotless, friendly, efficient, and consistently professional. We’re genuinely proud to be among their patients. I’ve always been extremely nervous about dental visits, and in the past year I’ve needed two extractions. Throughout every appointment, Mr. Mantle and Shelly have handled my anxious humour, calmed my nerves, and given me the confidence to return knowing I’m in safe hands. Their reassurance and patience have made a world of difference. From reception to hygienists to dentists, every member of the team is genuine, caring, and committed to providing realistic pricing and outstanding service. Having been a patient at Rose Cottage for a very long time, I have come to expect, as a matter of course, that I will always receive the absolute best of treatment in every respect. On my most recent visit earlier this week, I was once again the beneficiary of Mr Gayton’s expertise when a procedure that I was really not looking forward to, turned out to be for him totally routine and quite amazingly pain free. All in all, can’t speak too highly of the whole team at Rose Cottage.

Mr Gemmell was very accommodating and reassuring in an emergency, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Such a lovely setting with very sweet, helpful staff and thorough work by receptionists. I've never had such a pleasant experience in a dental practice. Thank you all.

Shelly and Adam were amazing when taking out my son's teeth today. They were kind and patient and it was done so quickly and professionally. My children are both happy and confident going to the dentist at Rose Cottage.

Having (what felt like to me) a dental emergency, this wonderful surgery gave me an appointment in less than an hour of calling! The receptionist was so kind and helpful..I cannot thank them enough! Been going to rose cottage since I was really young, every dentist I’ve had in that time has always been welcoming and kind. I just had a tooth taken out for the first time and was stressing the whole morning for absolutely nothing, they take such good care of you, listen to you and make you so comfortable it’s over in minutes, would definitely recommend:))
