About Rose Physical Therapy Group

Rose Physical Therapy Group operates on Desales Street Northwest in the Northwest Washington area of Washington, District of Columbia. At the core of a general dental practice is preventive and restorative care: checkups, professional cleanings, fillings, and screening for decay and gum disease before either becomes a bigger problem. It is the kind of appointment most people need on a routine schedule rather than only when something hurts.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment.

Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent.

Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway. I went to a post-partum recovery education session run by Claire, and had two PT sessions. Claire was fantastic, helping me to understand what to expect in the postpartum period and my return to elite sports. She helped me identify some prehab and rehab exercises that I can do to accelerate my recovery and promote my pelvic floor strength. Thanks so much!

I’ve been going to Rose PT for about 8 years. I’ve had 2 spinal surgeries and keep PT as part of my maintenance to reduce flare ups of pain and to keep myself moving well. I’ve been working with Will for the past 4 years and he is truly a gem! It’s 1:1 rather than an open gym style where your therapist may be working with several people at once. It’s personalized to your needs and not just an out of the box treatment. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at Rose Physical Therapy with Dr. Noah. He was warm, professional, and genuinely skilled at treating my lower back pain, and I mean treating, as in it's completely gone, in a really timely manner too. The Navy Yard office felt welcoming from the moment I walked in, with private rooms available and super supportive staff at the front desk. Claire, the practice owner, was also incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the whole process and you can really tell how much care she puts into her business. I would absolutely go back if needed and will definitely be recommending them!

The folks at Rose PT were so helpful to our triathlon group in preparing for training season. As someone who is starting out in the sport, I really appreciated their informative and attentive training. Would highly recommend.

I had a great PT experience with Will. I came in with self-diagnosed plantar fasciitis but through working with Will, I learned techniques to strengthen my calves and improve my muscular endurance that I will carry on with me to my future training (which improved my symptoms tremendously). Rose PT’s personalized model of 1:1 sessions with a consistent DPT makes all the difference. Would highly recommend Rose PT and working with Will!

Dr. William Knight is an exceptional physical therapist. He clearly explained every step of my treatment, was incredibly knowledgeable, and gave me the tools I needed to improve my shoulder. Highly recommend!
