The services listed — Braces, Emergency Dentistry, and Orthodontics — signal a comprehensive practice combining general emergency dental access with orthodontic treatment, an unusual combination suggesting the practice serves Winchester Road's diverse patient population across multiple dental need categories simultaneously.

General and emergency dental services include same-day or urgent care evaluations for toothache, dental trauma, broken restorations, and dental abscess alongside routine preventive and restorative procedures — examinations, cleanings, fillings, and crown restorations. Orthodontic services include braces consultations, traditional metal bracket braces placement, and orthodontic treatment planning for children, adolescents, and adults seeking malocclusion correction. The Winchester Road ZIP 40505 location's northeast Lexington position serves the working-class and working-professional residential communities of this inner Lexington zone, where access to dual-purpose general and orthodontic dental practices within a single practice visit is a significant practical convenience for families managing multiple dental needs.
Winchester Road's northeast Lexington position provides access from I-64's northeast Lexington exits, from New Circle Road's northeast Lexington interchange, and from LEXTRAN's bus routes serving Winchester Road's northeast corridor. Staff is great and hospitable just a bit on the edge from the poor manager and unprofessional attitude she has. you speak with the manager of mistakes that were made on their end and she blames her staff even though I spoke with her personally in person and throws her staff under the bus saying they're learning. Manager needs to take accountability and needs to be retrained on how to speak to clients and how to improve on training her staff. The small fraction you get to speak with her, you can tell she has a short fuse.
Great place, awesome front desk people and very informative Dentist and assistants!
havn't been to the dentist since pre-pandemic and my teeth desperately needed alot of work. unfortunatly My dentist shut its doors for good but fortunatly I found Ruby dental! they thoroughly and efficiently diagonosed all my issues in a friendly caring manor! as great an experiance going to the dentist can possibly be. UPDATE : went back this morning.... everyone is so friendly, efficient and accomodating. Best dentist i've ever went to. My Highest recomendations!!!!!
Quick service.
My wife went for visit early April for impacted molor, got put off until May 16,then different doctor does her tooth extraction and pulled the wrong tooth,he numbed the right tooth and then pulled perfectly good tooth directly behind it,no numbing just straight pulled it, be very careful before you trust this place, now we have to find another dentist that is trustworthy to remove the tooth that was impacted, and the reason for dentist visit in the first place.A week later and the saga continues after trying to call number given from 4 different phone lines-#'s,no answer no call back nada, zip, nothing. So decided to read other reviews, and wished we would have done better research into this place before trusting my personal health to them, big mistake.tooth that was the whole reason for visit that didn't get pulled is now obsessed and swollen with pain again.your reply looks like an AI auto post reply, pretty much exact same response to everyone that has trusted you to be able to perform a service for money, and failed them.
First, it’s so easy to schedule a new appointment and rescheduling as well! They were super friendly for my cleaning and explaining everything they were doing. The cleaning and tooth check was a bit uncomfortable but no complaints otherwise. I LOVE the Hispanic Reception lady she’s awesome and very sweet. Five star service!
This is the absolutely worst dentist office I have ever been to! I bought my child for Rout canal treatment. I came prepared with X-rays and exactly what needs to be done since this is not the first place we went to. We came here because they take his insurance. The doctor agreed to all treatment that was recommended from previous X-rays. I asked if they wanted to keep the copies they said no. They gave me a breakdown of the treatment plan said there was a waiting list, prescribed antibiotics and told me they would keep me updated on the list. I have a copy of everything! They call me saying they had to split up his appointment in two and scheduled both appointments. The first appointment comes about they call me as I’m on my way to say they needed to cancel due to the electric being out and would reschedule and never called back. The second appointment arrives I come on time and they tell me it’s an hour and a half wait. After sitting an hour and a half they call us back. The doctor says he has no treatment plan and X-rays. I pulled out both. He tells me well we can’t do anything today. After waiting an hour and a half and being on the waiting list for 2 months when my child’s mouth has been in pain! I’m livid! I asked for a manager and there was not even a manager on site! Do not go here!
I have been using this office since before it was Ruby Dental because of the location and easy access to the interstate and how easy it is to schedule. However, the check in procedure takes forever. Especially if you have multiple children done at one visit. Their customer service on the phone is very professional but the front office staff is incredibly rude and not warm welcoming with a smile. I dont know where the original front office staff went to but we sure miss them! I absolutely detest the way my children and I were dismissed today because the Manager was extremely unprofessional, ill prepared and loud. The Dentist are top notch. So once you get in the back, its all good. Stay Blessed!
Had a very good appointment at Ruby Dental. Not sure what other people's problem with the place was. Seems to be nothing but a professional and smooth working place. I waited a total of two minutes in the waiting room. Was taken right back and was x rayed and was in the dental chair within 8 minutes after arrival. All I had was a chipped front tooth, and they did an outstanding job. Matched my teeth color, was very helpful and told me what to expect and where I will hurt when getting the numbing medicine (the worst part). But after numbing the doctor went right to work. Fixed a cavity and the dental assistant went to work shaping my tooth. I wish I was better with names but the female dentist was awesome and the assistant was top notch. She didn't leave my side. Plus filling out paperwork on my phone a few days prior made the experience even better. I was in and out in 30-40 minutes and eating at a reman place down the road 10 minutes later. Wish they were closer to ashland so I could go to them more often but If you need work done, go to Ruby Dental in lexington. You will not be dissapointed.
Wanna shout out to the whole team but specifically; Tara and Hailey, as well as Dr. willis of course, for making my experience very welcoming. I haven't had any real dental care since I was a kid and in the past I had experiences that put me off going to the dentist. Today though was a wonderful experience, Tara was the sweetest person I've ever had the luck to meet, despite the circumstances 😂. Hayley was also very sweet and funny, it's great and rare to have the experience I had. I've been going through one of the roughest couple months, and I hadn't left the house in those months, it helped me feel much more human today 🩷. I wanna sincerely thank you guys for your wonderful work and attitudes 🩷. Can't wait to be back!
