I have been seeing Dr. Phillips for over 28 years. Dr. Phillips is a superb dentist with broad knowledge and experience in practically all areas of dentistry. He is thoughtful, skillful, and thorough. Dr. Phillips always strives to provide the best possible outcome for his patients. Dr. Phillips is ethical and conscientious. Dr. Phillips’ calm and friendly demeanor makes it a pleasure to visit his office. The hygienists and staff are excellent and very friendly. I recommend Dr. Phillips and his practice enthusiastically. Update (8/14/2023): I saw Dr. Phillips today. What an amazing dedicated dentist! And at the same time such a wonderfully pleasant person. He labored tirelessly for two hours to save one of my molars. Once again he demonstrated his deep knowledge in dentistry and his drive for perfection. One can only admire Dr. Phillips. Update (12/20/2025): Thank you Dr. Phillips for continued dedicated dental care that is as effective as it has always been since my first visit to your practice some 30 years ago. Your expertise in oral surgery is second to none and it makes every visit worry free. I know that I am in good hands and indeed everything goes smoothly and by the book. [UPDATE 2021Sep] Still EXCELLENT! In addition to his excellent experience and skills, Dr. Phillips is a life-long learner, which is his most endearing trait! [UPDATE 2018Sep] Still excellent! I have been trying different dentists each year, some of my own accord and some because my primary provider lists change each year even while my health plan remains unchanged. I found Dr. Phillips last year and after cleanings, fillings and veneers, I am convinced he is a "keeper". You are first struck by his friendly manner and efficiency, and with time, you realize he is also a constant learner and up to date on the latest advances in dentistry. I highly recommend Dr. Phillips and will try to stay with him for as long as possible regardless of who my health care provider decides are primary care providers.
It is always an amazing experience to the dentist when I am under the care of Dr. Phillips and his staff. I received my usual cleaning with Tran, Dr. Phillips's hygienist, and I can tell you that it was such a smooth and great experience. She is professional, gentle on my gum and teeth, and educates me on preventative care and how I can continue to improve on dental care. In addition to the cleaning, Dr. Phillips had provided me with retainers that have a dual use of a night guard. He was extremely attentive to the comfort of the retainers and walked me through the process during the fitting process. Lastly, the entire staff at Dr. Phillips have been professional and friendly every time I enter the establishment. I am very pleased and highly recommend that you see Tran and Dr. Phillips for your dental needs.
I've been going to Dr Phillips since 2006, when I moved to DC. He's been terrific. Professional, friendly, competent and accommodating. That's also true for the entire staff. Angel - one the hygienists - has also been superb. I have since moved to Florida, but I often fly to DC and work my Dentist appointments into the schedule. Great experience.
