About S A Christian Dental Clinic

S A Christian Dental Clinic provides general dental services to patients at the Haven for Hope campus in the Cattleman Square area of downtown San Antonio from its office at Building 1, Suite 400, 1 Haven for Hope Way, San Antonio, TX 78207. Haven for Hope is San Antonio's premier comprehensive homeless services campus — a 37-acre facility on the near west side of downtown SA — providing emergency shelter, supportive housing, mental health care, substance recovery services, job training, and medical and dental care to the most vulnerable members of the San Antonio community.

SA Christian Dental Clinic operates as a faith-motivated dental care provider within the Haven for Hope campus ecosystem, delivering professional dental services to the unhoused and homeless-adjacent population that the campus serves. Charitable and faith-based dental clinics embedded within social services campuses play an essential role in addressing the oral health disparities that disproportionately affect people experiencing homelessness — a population for whom dental pain, infection, and tooth loss are significantly more common than in the general population.

General dental services include diagnostic evaluation, professional cleanings, composite fillings, extractions, and treatment of dental infections that can progress to serious systemic illness if left untreated. Dental care within the Haven for Hope campus supports the comprehensive wraparound service model that gives campus residents the best opportunity to stabilize their lives and achieve sustainable housing.

Haven for Hope Way at 1 is located in the Cattleman Square Historic District just west of downtown SA, accessible from IH-35 and IH-10 with VIA Metropolitan Transit service from across the SA metro. SA Christian Dental Clinic is a faith-based general dental resource for the Haven for Hope campus and the vulnerable 78207 community it serves.

I don't usually leave bad reviews, but I've been trying to contact them for a week and no one is responding. How am I supposed to schedule an appointment? Apparently, I'm not the only one with this problem.

I started my dental journey with them in December, everyone was. Extremely nice and welcoming and helpful. I will add that calling them I never got a response, instead I went and made an appt and learned that most everyone has to go in to make an appt as well . They are overwhelmed with patients. Anyway I highly recommend them !!

I've been calling since last week I keep leaving voicemails I have a urgent matter and no one is answering the phones. I'm starting to wonder how active customers get ahold of them when they have to schedule a reschedule appointment because that's the only way to do it is by calling and they're not even answering

I have been calling everyday and leavingessages for two weeks. I am in extreme pain and qualify for low income but no one will answer the phone or call back. I go on the website and it says to call to make an appointment. I call from the time they open until they close and no one answers the phone. I have a job so I cant miss work to go up there with no appointment. But I am in so much pain they are leaving me with no choice. Which means they are choosing not to help me and make my income lower for their convenience.

Honest question here, and if someone can give me an answer I'd appreciate it. Is this business still operating? Because I've called daily, and left voicemails to try and make an appointment for a new patient and no one answers the phone or calls me back. How do I get in contact with someone?

The staff here acts like they are so hopeful but they really like treating people like crap. There all in there heads they think they own the place they are a mess and they are nobody to talk to people the way they should.

These people are so caring and nice. The nice nurse held my hand and kept telling me it was going to be ok because I was freaking out a little. So sweet and they really do care.

I don’t understand the reviews of the staff being rude, everyone was so unbelievably kind!! I am very thankful for this place, I was able to get a cleaning and my wisdom teeth extracted. Since it was a busy event, it did take some time, but they’re doing such great work helping so many people of San Antonio. ❤️❤️❤️

Okay well I came to this place like once and did ex rays and everything my first time was in March and this sweet lady ms Valerie was helping me and my husband apply for low income and everything I got approved.. so in March was my last visit and over the summer. I tried so many times to get in and Miss Valerie told me to text her every week to see if there’s openings. I left it like that so I made a complaint saying that I was in pain to see the dentist already, and they only saw me because they thought I was in pain so today I requested to work with the same Person to do my teeth because I had a good experience with this dentist doctor they made it into a big deal that every time I come in, I would see another dentist when Valerie told me I would see the same one all the time and today they wanted to pull out two teeth, which is kind of bizarre when it was their fault for not keeping up with my teeth. I try to get appointments back to back and nothing so I went in today and Miss Valerie was playing victim and I got kicked out of the dentist, good place for Dental, but not to be mistreated the way I did today regardless if I had to pay anything or not, people are people and they should be treated with respect and should be comfortable with the people who do their teeth thank you.
