All the staff were very friendly, exam felt thorough, got answers for any questions I had. Overall wonderful experience and I feel confident going into further treatments that I’ll be well taken care of and also empowered with holistic tips to do my part at home in keeping my teeth healthy.

Wonderful dental office, great staff and my daughter was so happy here which is unusual for her. My main focus was finding holistic and an office that uses ozone which is very beneficial with mold toxicity (and in general)Would love bringing my daughter back for follow-up visits in the future after her main procedure. Had a small hiccup in billing, but the dentist called me back on her personal phone to straighten it out—-wow! Thank you for a great experience. Blessings!

We are overjoyed to finally have a truly holistic dentist in Eugene (what has taken so long?!). My husband & I had been traveling to San Jose, CA to get major work done by a biomimetic dentist for the past few years because the care in Eugene just couldn't compare. No longer! Dr. Railand is both a biological and biomimetic dentist and is the most highly skilled dentist I've ever met---truly a bit of a miracle worker! My husband had a tooth that 2 other dentists said could only be extracted; Dr. Railand was able to save it. I had a tooth that other dentists wanted to crown and she was able to do a filling in the specific way that she works. I have wanted a comprehensive, holistic view of my dental health for so long and I finally received that. Dr. Railand's skill level is very impressive, she is continually learning and pushing herself farther, she takes time with patients, and is very kind and respectful---as is her whole team. I love that she thinks outside the box and comes up with the best solutions for each person. She found a great path for me to take with my situation, when other dentists just wanted to keep repeating what hasn't worked. We are SO grateful to find Sage Dental Wellness! Updating after a few months of care to add: Madeline is an extraordinary dental hygienist.... She is curious, bright, and constantly seeking to understand what is going on in my mouth and why, and what we can do about it holistically. I have never had a dental cleaning like this!

My son was in a snowboarding accident and broke his front permanent tooth. I called all around town and to other cities in Oregon- no one would see him because of his age and their policy about the particular medications they use for root canals and children. Finally I had the sense to find a holistic dentist- hoping that a root canal was not the only answer. Dr. Railand wanted to see him as soon as possible and saved my son’s tooth using ozone therapy and a composite filling to protect the exposed roots. Her amazing artistry makes it hard to even tell he broke his tooth! I highly recommend this dentist, both for her knowledge and trust in the bodies innate capacity to heal as well as her holistic approach to dentistry. I am so grateful we ended up at Sage Dental Wellness opposed to having a conventional dentist just remove my son’s tooth entirely. My son was happy and comfortable there and our appointment was pleasant and efficient. She was genuinely concerned about how his tooth was doing and had us back for a follow up where she took the time to check on it and answer all of my questions. I am very happy we chose this Dr. Railand.

My first visit with Dr Railand and quite honestly it was the best first visit I have had with anyone in the medical community, not just dentistry! I feel like her system is top notch! She has some of the best equipment out there and genuinely cares about you as a whole person, not just your teeth. I got a great amount of education through the process with her hygienists and then with her - I'm 52 years old and feel like for once I understand my teeth, my mouth, and how they relate to my overall well-being after just one visit! I was admitted on time, the length of appointment was appropriate (almost 2 hours) given I'm a new patient and there's a lot that goes into getting to know someone and what they are needing from their dentist. Everything was explained thoroughly and at the end they go through a fully itemized bill for each procedure you may need or want - it was full transparency from start to finish! And, her office is newly remodeled with a clean, modern aesthetic that brings a sense of calm and quiet luxury.

Sage Dental is a beautiful facility with great staff, a lovely relaxing atmosphere, full of light and brand new, both in ambience and approach to dentistry. Holistic treatment is unfamiliar to most of us, but it is quickly emerging as a healthier approach to dentistry. Dr. Laura Railand has years of experience in this type of practice, both in Wisconsin and in Portland. To her credit, she invested heavily in the latest equipment, including SleepLase which cannot be found anywhere else in Oregon aside from Portland. The staff is professional and friendly. Wait times at other clinics can be annoying but not at Sage----in no time at all I was in the chair receiving exactly the kind of treatment I was hoping for. I highly recommend Sage Dental and I encourage everyone to learn about the benefits of holistic dentistry-----pleasant surprises await!
