I enjoy working with Dawn and she is an exemplary hygienist, as well as a friendly and caring professional. People like her and the lovely woman who assisted her at my cleaning visit represent the very best that dental care has to offer. Dr. Rubenstein is also a wonderful practitioner and I am happy to be in his care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rubenstein for 10 years now. From the very beginning, I knew that I landed in the right place. Amazing service front desk staff to the hygienists, they make me feel comfortable with every visit. Dr. Rubenstein always gives me options and works with me to come up with the.best treatment plan within my budget. His work is excellent! I would not trust anyone else but him. Thank you for years of great service.

Profit over patients. They really didn’t care about my tooth. My experience. I went there a few times , so did my daughter. They billed our insurance plus I payed out of pocket of what was not covered. I also needed a root canal and asked if I could break the payment into 4 parts . They said no. So I waited till I could afford to go. I teach at community college and am a single mom with a daughter in college. I just had my appointment, BUT it’s too late ! My tooth is decayed and he referred me to a surgeon to extract it . I do not want to. I cried and cried. Bottom line . They don’t care about the patients well being : they are money hungry greedy people. I payed them a lot so far for myself and my daughter . They told me to do care credit , I cannot . In summary, they are not rock stars or the most coveted dentists . I should have gone somewhere else, but I thought oh, they have all my dental records and x rays I don’t want to start all over again. I’m so upset. What ever happened to people caring about each other? Moreover, my other tooth that he worked on and I paid over $1500 still hurts and they have an attitude.

Dr. Alan Rubenstein and the staff at Santa Monica Family Dentistry are the very best. I've been a patient for years and it's always comforting and professional there. I personally want to thank everyone for a great experience.

Dr Rubenstein is the best and always calms me down whenever I have a concern with my teeth. I have been coming to see him for years. Mercedes is also amazing and so good at cleaning, so through and also gentle. I have tooth sensitivity and I had no pain. Also they work with you if you don’t have dental insurance which is very much appreciated. Amazing front office staff as well.

Our whole family comes here. We love Dr Rubenstein, he is an amazing dentist. All my years trying to find a good dentist that makes life easy and actually cares. Ermy the office manager is a strong suiter she works very very hard and is so pleasant with us. We can’t thank her enough. all the hygienists and assistants are wonderful. So grateful for these guys

When I needed a new dentist I did a very distressing local tour until I found a new hone at Samta Monica Family Dentistry. These are the most capable, efficient and above all kind dental folk possible. I wholeheartedly recommend. Excellent dentistry from lovely hard working people.

I can't believe I'm writing a review saying this, but I felt so safe and valued at this dental office. If you new to the area or looking to switch, just hit the call button and set up the appointment! The doctors, hygienists, assistants, and receptionists are all so lovely and professional. And a beautiful view from the exam room! My hygienist- Venus- was excited to clean my teeth because I needed a "deep" clean, which made me feel much more comfortable with the state of my mouth despite it being almost 2 years since my last cleaning. She was fast and effective, and I am very grateful for her kindness. She was aggressive towards my plaque and I AM SO GLAD SHE WAS. She was SO kind and make me feel safe enough that I cried. Mean to plaque, kind to people- my kind of girl. I went back the next day for 2 fillings and they gave me breaks and talked me through what they were doing while working on my mouth, and when I winced with a smidge of pain they stopped and gave me more numbing medication. I have a difficult time holding my mouth open and they offered a bite block with no judgement. The dentist who took care of my fillings also shares a name with my dog, (Simon) so extra points there too! :) I'm grateful to have found this office, and I will recommend them to literally everyone I meet.
