I feel tremendous enthusiasm to review Dr. Sawatari . Dr. Sawatari is at the highest level of experience, professionalism, and knowledge in his medical specialty. He exceeds all expectations of an oral surgeon and I had no doubt that he sincerely wants the best for his patients. I suffered from a horrible oral infection for almost three years. I saw many doctors up and down the treasure coast and parts of south Florida. After no resolution or definitive diagnosis, I felt like I would never find relief from this horrible situation. It took me walking into the OMFS division at UM to realize that not all doctors are made equal. Dr. Sawatari had a diagnosis and a treatment plan within 30 minutes of arriving at his office. I felt like it was a dream come true to finally know that there was something we could do to start the healing process for me. Based on my experience, I can say with confidence that Dr. Sawatari is the best of the best maxillofacial surgeon. Thank you Dr. Sawatari for helping me get to the “root” of my issue when no one else would.

Dr. Sawatari is the best surgeon! I had a very bad accident that landed me in the hospital with the worst type of facial fracture and shattered jaw. He was the surgeon selected to put my fractured facial bones back together, and he did such an amazing job. People can’t even tell that I ever sustained such horrible injuries. I needed a few more surgeries in the last 5 years, which he did. I always had full trust in him that he would take great care of me and that I was in great hands. He was always so caring and took the time to answer any questions that I had. I highly recommend Dr. Sawatari! He is such a nice doctor and an amazing surgeon.

Dr. Sawatari is an excellent oral maxilofacial . He take care of you. He explain everything detail by detail. His staff make you feel comfortable and same as doctor, they explain detail by detail not only what your insurance covers but all you doubts. His anesthesiologist is very careful, knowledgeable, and also take care of you. After he removed my wisdom teeth, his staff call me the next two days to ask how I fell and to follow with my next appointment for check up my surgery. I was highly afraid but Dr. Sawatari and his staff gave me a great confidence. Highly recommend him to remove your wisdom teeth.

This doctor is absolutely horrendous. I've had an appointment scheduled since last September 2022 for March 9th and a week before my appointment they called to cancel due to the doctor not seeing any new patients since January of this year. If they've known this since January why not call me and let me know of this? I cannot see a regular dentist, I can only see a oral surgeon because of my blood clotting condition and it's extremely difficult to find a doctor willing to work on my teeth because I bleed so heavily. Super unprofessional and unreasonable.

After much suffering in Naples, I was referred to Dr. Sawatari. It's now the second anniversary of my VERY successful extraction of an ectopic wisdom tooth and i'm still praising him. Not only an excellent surgeon, he's a gentle and caring gentleman. So grateful!!!!
