About Scottsdale Center for Implant Dentistry

Scottsdale Center for Implant Dentistry is a dental practice on East Pinnacle Peak Road in the Toledo Mixed Use Facility Comdominium area of Scottsdale, Arizona. A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root, not just the crown — a small titanium post is placed in the jaw bone and, once it has integrated over a period of months, a replacement tooth is attached to it. It is generally the most durable option for a single missing tooth or several.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost. Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Scottsdale Center for Implant Dentistry located in Scottsdale?

What days is Scottsdale Center for Implant Dentistry open?

What services does Scottsdale Center for Implant Dentistry offer?
Listed services at Scottsdale Center for Implant Dentistry include Dental Implants. The full list is shown on this page.
Do dental implants hurt?
Placement is done under local anaesthetic, and most people compare the discomfort afterward to an extraction rather than something worse. Soreness for a few days is normal and usually manageable with standard pain relief.
How long do dental implants last?
The implant itself is designed to be permanent and frequently lasts decades. The crown attached to it is the part more likely to need replacing over time, and implants can still be lost to gum infection if cleaning is neglected.
Why do dentists take X-rays?
Decay between teeth and problems below the gumline are invisible to the naked eye, so X-rays are what reveal them. Modern digital images use a low dose and are taken only when clinically justified.

Dr. M. Bleeker and hygienist are just awesome. My experiences with this practice is always delightful and professional. Dr. Bleeker pulled stitched and repaired my partial in one visit. I have been dental shy my entire life but coming to this office is non threatening and comfortable. My appreciation for this dental office is unwavering. Thank you all.

I don't think I can ever thank you and Sheryl enough for your kindness, compassion, professionalism and for helping Freddie enjoy this phase of his life as much as possible. I am so glad we were referred to you!

I have seen Dr. Bleeker for a broken tooth. At that time, I was wearing an orthotic. Dr. Bleeker modified the orthotic which caused the position of mandibular to changed. I was biting the lower lip and tongue. The orthotics cost me over $10,000. The root canal with a post and crowns almost $8000. The crowns are moving. I am concern that they will break. A dentist from California shifted my mandibular to the left. I had seen dentists and orthodontics for the mandibular, but none of them were able to move the mandibular back. Dr. Laurie positioned the mandibular where my muscle will relax, but Dr. Bleeker focused on the crowns and disregarded the position of mandibular. This was a very bad experience. I wish that I have never seen him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bleeker’s for many years, and it has always been a pleasure to be under his care. His professionalism is truly beyond the highest standard. He consistently demonstrates exceptional skill, integrity, and genuine concern for his patients. Several years ago, I had veneers placed, and they performed beautifully without any issues for many years. When one of the veneered teeth later came off, Dr. Bleeker recommended placing a full crown, which worked perfectly. About a week later, a second tooth veneer came loose. Rather than simply replacing it, he chose to place another full crown to ensure a stronger, longer-lasting result. What impressed me most was that both crowns were provided free of charge—far beyond what I ever expected. Dr. Bleeker truly went above and beyond to stand behind his work and ensure I was completely satisfied. I am incredibly grateful for his dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence. I highly recommend Dr. Bleeker to anyone seeking outstanding dental care.

I am a general dentist in Phoenix and I needed Dr Bleeker’s help with a complex denture where my patient had to have his mandibular bone removed and replaced with a leg bone. I successfully help my patients with dentures in my office, but this particular case was beyond my skill level. Dr Bleeker has been exactly what this patient needed—knowledgeable, kind, easy to work with, and full of solutions. I will definitely refer other complex patients to Dr Bleeker.

I’ve been to quite a few dentists in my time. I have implants and crowns and hands down Dr. Bleeker and his fabulous assistant, Cheryl make it worthwhile to drive from the Biltmore area to North Scottsdale. I highly recommend this dental practice.
