I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr Wahlstrom and everyone I’ve interacted with in that office. I had had a few consultations at other practices but felt that each only presented their preferred methods, which I understand, but I wanted to know all of my options before having two teeth removed and possibly two implants done. I was told by other providers that removing my back molar would jeopardize the one below it and that I would need a root canal or implant. Dr Wahlstrom said that there was enough overlap that he wasn’t worried, plus fact that I was religious about my clear retainers would help to prevent that as well. I also needed an implant done on another tooth and initially found him because he does the more inert ceramic implants but he explained to me that they can be a bit brittle and wanted me to know that he would still do it but that it could have complications and because I grind pretty badly, we ultimately decided on titanium. At the end of the consultation I didn’t feel pressured or rushed, I felt informed and confident in our game plan and got my surgery on books immediately. The day of, they took me back right on time, talked me through everything as they prepped me for anesthesia, and about 45 minutes later I was done and going over everything with the doctor. Unfortunately he wasn’t too thrilled with the implant site and decided to forgo it at that time and just do the bone graft so that it could create a more solid foundation for the implant. While I’m not terribly excited for a second procedure, I really respect that he did what was best for me and the longevity/integrity of my future implant. I know it’s easy to get psyched out when it comes to dental work but they do everything to put you at ease here and’s I couldn’t recommend them more! Let me be the horrible warning not to put off dental work; get in to see them ASAP ❤️

Dr. Gassmann and his outstanding clinical staff instilled so much confidence with me it's beyond words. I went in to my (major) oral surgery with almost no anxiety and every expectation of a successful outcome. As I knew it would be, everything was absolutely perfect! I was so thrilled with the wonderful care I received I can't rave about Scottsdale Surgical Arts enough. The front office staff is excellent too! Scottsdale Surgical Arts is second to none, and I couldn't endorse them more enthusiastically!

I came here to get my wisdom teeth out and the entire experience from the initial consultation, to the surgery itself, to the follow up appointment was excellent. Dr Gassmann and his team are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable! They were all super kind and willing to answer/help with any questions or concerns I had. We had an excellent experience with Dr. Wahlstrom. My son had all four wisdom teeth removed , and the care was truly exceptional. Dr. Wahlstrom even came in after hours to personally check on him, which means the world to us as parents. Recovery was smoother than we ever expected - very little swelling and minimal pain. We felt well informed, cared for, and confident throughout the entire process. I’m incredibly grateful and would highly recommend Dr. Wahlstrom to any family.

Absolutely the best experience! Dr. Wahlstrom and his staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They got my daughter in for emergency surgery within 24 hours of her referral. Dr. Wahlstrom explained the entire procedure thoroughly to put us at ease and even called afterward to check on her recovery.
