That is where Sculpt Dental Spa keeps its suite, and for peninsula residents, students and the hospital workforce it offers something genuinely scarce downtown: a cosmetic-leaning practice you can reach on foot, or with one turn off Spring Street, instead of crossing a bridge to Mount Pleasant. The caveat is the one every peninsula address carries. Street parking above Calhoun tightens up on a weekday morning, and anyone driving in from Summerville, Goose Creek or Moncks Corner is paying for the location in windshield time.
Dr. Suzie Dubrinski opened the practice in 2022 after a decade in dentistry, and it is built around cosmetic and restorative work, with Invisalign, whitening, crowns, implants, sedation and emergency appointments alongside routine cleanings. Diagnosis leans on a 3D scanner, intraoral cameras, fluorescence-based cavity detection and digital smile simulation, so a proposed shape can be shown on screen before anything is committed to. Composite bonding is the treatment worth understanding in detail. Resin the color of enamel is etched and bonded directly onto the tooth, then sculpted freehand, cured and polished in one visit, with no laboratory stage and, in most cases, no drilling of healthy tooth structure. That makes bonding the conservative and largely reversible starting point for a chipped edge, a small gap or an uneven smile line, which is why it is often the honest first suggestion rather than veneers. The limits are real too. Composite is softer than porcelain, picks up stain at the margins sooner, usually wants polishing every year or two, and typically needs replacing somewhere between five and ten years, sooner if you grind.
Fluorescence cavity detection is worth understanding for what it is. A probe reads the light returned from softened tooth structure and scores it, which flags a deep molar groove that an explorer tip can sit in without catching. It does not replace bitewing x-rays, still the only way to see between touching teeth, and a high score on its own is not a reason to drill.
Comfort is the other organizing idea here, aimed squarely at people who have put off dentistry for years: massage chairs, nitrous oxide, noise-cancelling headphones and aromatherapy. Hours start early midweek, 7.30am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with later starts Monday and Tuesday.

Today was my first cleaning at Sculpt Dental Spa. I was really nervous because I have a few sensitive spots. Laura was FANTASTIC! Actually, everyone there is fantastic, including Dr. Dubrinski! She's very personable and knows her stuff. It was such a great experience.

Dr. Suzie is fantastic! So are all of the dental assistants working there. I hated going to the dentist for the longest time, but she changed that for me. Sculpt Dental Spa is incredible! They do everything to make you feel at ease right when you walk through the doors. During my appointment today they were running just a few min behind so offered to let me sit in their amazing massage chair with some champagne! They really make it feel like a Spa in there! Dental hygienists are all also the best making sure you're always okay and doing everything with perfect precision. Dr Suzie is fantastic and makes sure you feel heard. Best dentist I've been to in my adult life!
Dr. Suzie, Olivia, Nick and the whole team at Sculpt Dental are phenomenal! I was a complicated case due to my vertigo that prevents me from lying flat on my back, but the team was so kind and understanding and got creative - some of which required Dr.Suzie to do my dental work standing up! They were so patient throughout the long process and took such good care of me (and my anxiety) and always made me laugh. (Nick even brought his sweet dog into one of my visits - they are big dog lovers like me). Dr. Suzie is a true artist and Olivia is her own kind of cosmetic tooth fairy. I’ve received so many compliments on my “beautiful” teeth thanks to their hard work. It’s rare to find such talented good humans all working together in one office - but Sculpt Dental has done it. They’ve got me as a client for life.
I can't believe I haven't written a review sooner!! Sculpt is by far the best dental office I've ever been to. Laura is an incredibly thorough hygienist who always goes above and beyond. Dr. Suzie genuinely cares about helping you have your best smile and takes the time to do more than just a routine check up.. I know I'm in great hands every time. I highly recommend them! Making appointments and calling the office is always such an easy process.
I had another great experience at Sculpt Dental Spa! Laura, the hygienist, is incredibly careful and detail oriented, hands down one of the most thorough cleanings I’ve ever had. She really takes her time and makes sure everything is done perfectly. Dr. Suzie is just as amazing. She always takes the time to clearly explain any treatment needs and answers all my questions without ever making me feel rushed. It’s such a reassuring and professional environment. Also, the front desk team is incredibly accommodating. They’ve been great about helping me maximize my schedule by combining appointments whenever possible, which makes everything so convenient. Highly recommend!
