About Seattle Dental Co.

Seattle Dental Co. is located on West Harrison Street near Seattle Center, in the Uptown and Lower Queen Anne area just north of downtown. The practice operates as a general office that also offers cosmetic and restorative care, giving residents and workers in this lively part of the city a convenient place to handle their full range of dental needs close to where they live and spend their days. General dentistry forms the backbone of the practice, covering the cleanings, exams, and preventive treatment that keep teeth and gums healthy and catch trouble before it grows. From that foundation, Seattle Dental Co. offers cosmetic dentistry, with teeth whitening and porcelain veneers for patients who want to brighten their smile or reshape teeth that look stained, chipped, or uneven. Because the cosmetic work is grounded in steady preventive care, improvements to appearance rest on a genuinely healthy base. For patients who have lost teeth, the office provides dental implants, a durable, long-term replacement that restores the ability to bite, chew, and speak naturally. This restorative focus suits adults dealing with gaps or aging dental work that no longer holds up, and who want a stable solution rather than a temporary fix. The team treats these cases with care, taking the time to explain the process and the options so patients can move forward feeling informed. Seattle Dental Co. also keeps room for emergency dentistry, so a sudden toothache, a broken tooth, or another urgent issue can be seen promptly instead of left to worsen. With its combination of preventive, cosmetic, restorative, and emergency services, and its handy location near Seattle Center on West Harrison Street, the practice is a practical home base for individuals and families in the Uptown and Lower Queen Anne area who value one dependable team for everything from a routine cleaning to a cosmetic consult or an unexpected emergency. For the residents and professionals who fill the Uptown and Lower Queen Anne area, having routine, cosmetic, restorative, and emergency care gathered near Seattle Center is the kind of central convenience that fits naturally into a busy urban routine. I am a new patient and very satisfied. My first visit with the dentist was thorough, and she explained things well and listened. My second visit for a cleaning was comfortable. I left a dental practice I had been with for a long time and did a lot of research before choosing Seattle Dental.

Why a 1 star? • Staff does not listen to patients and dismisses urgent concerns. • My mother's night guard was made so incorrectly that it was a choking hazard. • Their billing system was down for over three months, preventing patients from paying their bills. • If they cannot even keep a billing system functioning, where exactly is our information going? • Nicole! • Their front office staff doesn't ask for your records so you are charged immensely to redo what may have been done a month prior. I spent hours researching this practice. I wanted to ensure they could handle my specific needs. I live less than a crosswalk away and have lived in Seattle for over 20 years. This office has historically had very poor reviews, but suddenly their ratings seemed much better. I arrived for my appointment and had to repeat everything all over again AND HAVE ALL NEW X-RAYS when they were taken weeks prior. I absolutely love that the office seems to give carte blanche to employees to invalidate concerns, refuse to escalate issues, and act as though a request to be seen is an inconvenience to them. And they act like the seriously questionable payment system is no big deal I received a bill that I wanted to pay, but I couldn't because their billing system had been down for over three months. Every single time I called, I was told they were "having issues" with their billing site. Three months. That does not inspire confidence. It raises questions. Then came the final straw. I called over a holiday weekend because the side of my tongue appeared to be lacerated and I was concerned it might be related to my implant. I left a voicemail more than an hour and a half before they opened. Nicole apparently listened to only part of my message. An hour and a half later, she texted me telling me to go back to the specialist who did the implant the one THEY REFERRED ME TO. That would have required me to spend approximately $70 on an Uber, despite the fact that I live directly across the street from this office and could have been there in less than a minute. I wasn't asking for extensive treatment. I wasn't asking for an emergency appointment, although I KNOW that all doctors and dentists have same day emergent appointment openings. I was asking for five minutes to look at my tongue and tell me whether I needed to see the specialist or whether it was simply irritated. After I expressed my frustration, AND YES I told her how I felt about them not caring and expecting me to spend $70 on an uber when I COULD WALK ACROSS THE STREET, Nicole then asked where they should send my records. That quick; peace out homie. No apologies of her being overworked, overwhelmed or underqualified. What records? I've had one appointment with your office. You never requested records from anyone else, so why would I be asking you to send records somewhere? That response made it painfully obvious that my message hadn't been listened to, my concern hadn't been understood, and nobody had taken even a moment to figure out why I was calling, nor did they care ABOUT ME. I then rec'd appointment reminders and I had to reach out again to do Nicole's job to confirm they were cancelled. This is not only an afront to me but it lacks any professionalism. This practice may have a semi-competent dentist, but the front office operations are chaotic and dismissive. I am concerned that my PII and my financial information can be at risk, and their lab technicians are not at all competent. But really it is the lack of knowledge, security, customer service, and human compassion EVEN just upon entering the office that makes this a practice to avoid. I would never recommend this office to anyone. I will wait for the passive aggressive response and then share Nicole's responses/which I'm pretty sure the practice hasn't seen. I shouldn't have to babysit the people I pay for "care", to pay a bill or cancel appointments or get CARE - Bottom line - you will not get professionalism here.

Clinic felt very efficient, yet humane and personable. Dr Song was very kind and nonjudgmental and had detailed follow-up questions prepared from my health history intake form.

Took so many years of trial and error with dentists and so happy to land here. Everyone I've interacted with is kind, patient, and helpful and it's just the easiest and most pleasant dental experience every time. I echo the sentiments of the many great reviews before me. Just top notch professionals who are also down to earth and have a gift for making you feel comfortable and well taken care of.

I just had my first appointment with this dental office and it was such a great experience. Everyone took great care of me and Dr. Guerrero took her time to explain my X-rays to me, made sure I was comfortable, and Justin did a great job at taking my X-rays and my cleaning! I’m super happy I found such a great a dental office that’s organized, kind, and professional!

Had a great experience, this was my first time seeing a new dentist after my family dentist of over 20 years. So it was a big deal to feel safe and fully trust the team here. Dr. Guerrero definitely knew her stuff, and did a really great job of explaining everything so I can understand my situation as well. She also explained all of my options, what the cost would look like, and was very transparent about everything which I really appreciated. Excited to have a new dentist here closer to home!

Frank is a really solid dentist hygienist. From the start, he was inviting and welcoming, which made the visit feel a lot more comfortable than I expected. He explained things clearly and took his time, which I appreciated. Overall, a good experience and I’d recommend him if you’re looking for someone friendly and easy to talk to!

Rarely do I share my impressions of a doctor, their colleagues, and their facilities, but in this case I will make an exception. From the moment I walked into the practice, I was made to feel welcome and appreciated. The waiting area is clean and tastefully furnished and the atmosphere is congenial. My visit involved an initial assessment, x-rays and cleaning. Justin was proficient in gathering details regarding my overall health, and efficiently took the necessary x-rays. Dr. Amanda Guerrero performed the inspection of my teeth as well as the cleaning itself. Kudos to her for routinely checking if I were comfortable during the process, which can often be distressing for some. At no point did I feel pain or discomfort. I was very satisfied with the results of the exam and the cleaning. The assessment that followed was comprehensive. It was clear that we needed to give special attention to some of my teeth. Together we formed an action plan that was both practical and holistic. Nicole at the front desk was very helpful in disclosing the details following my visit. She went over the costs for each of the procedures that were recommended by Dr. Guerrero, as well as what my insurance company would likely authorize, and most importantly, if any out-of-pocket expenses would be due when services were rendered. I appreciated the summary, and the ease of scheduling my next visit. I left feeling good about having chosen this practice for all of my dental needs.
