Competent, Honest and down to earth person. I trust Dr Shumaker 100%. He doesn't try to sell you products or services. He takes time to explain the problem to patients. I am glad I switched to him after my Orthodontist Stephan Parker recommended him among 5 DDS near my work to pick from. And has great sense of humor too. Today I had my teeth cleaned by Rose and she did an amazing job! Thank you Dr Shumaker for repairing my broken tooth. I appreciate your conservative approach. I went last week for a tooth cleaning appt... it seemed well but when I get a cleaning normally my teeth look whiter and I have gaps.... I feel they didn't clean them as well as they could... and I was dissatisfied with the cleaning for the 2nd time.... I may call my Insurance company and switch dentists for that fact...I do like Dr. Don... it's the hygienist that I wasn't thrilled with... ALSO... I have never seen a dds where they clean your teeth before the dds visits... EVER

I was without dental insurance for approximately 5 years before I walked into Dr. Shumaker's offices with a fresh new dental insurance card. after several years of covering my smile with my hand or being afraid to laugh out loud due to cavities, broken and chipped teeth, I am now smiling big and bright! The staff is very warm and friendly as they greet you and do what they can for your convenience. Fernanda has been wonderful. my procedures with her have been efficient and she is very conscientious about her work. Dr. Shumaker has been wonderful, friendly and patient. My first appointment, I got a little freaked out by the needle but he waited and helped me get comfortable and nowadays, I'm ready for the needle! His office has completed a root canal, 3 crowns and two veneers. We still have some work to go but he is giving me a smile that I'm proud of. He's fixed the broken teeth so I can now eat properly and without pain. I highly recommend Dr. Shumaker and his staff to you - even if you are a baby in the chair (I was at first!) or need a new dentist - he and his staff are wonderful!
