Today I was treated by Dr.Kim. my first experience with this dentist, not the establishment. I was there for a root canal. All I can say is that I felt safe and comfortable. I felt no pain... not even with the injection for the anesthetic and what's even better than that is I got to choose what to watch on the screen and I fell asleep in the chair while the work was being done. . . That is pretty impressive. Thank you Dr. Kim for a great experience. B. Cruz

I chose this office because of the positive reviews, but my experience has been one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences I have had in a long time. I was seen in February for an exam, X-rays, photographs, scans, and treatment planning. After receiving a costly treatment plan, I called to ask whether treatment could be broken into phases because I could not afford everything at once. I was told I would get a call back after she consulted the doctor. I never received a response. Over the following months, I made multiple attempts to obtain information about my treatment plan, requested callbacks, and requested copies of my records. I was repeatedly told someone would contact me or my requested information would be emailed to me that day and neither happened. Most recently, I called and was told someone would call me back yet again. When I asked whether they even had my contact information to do so, the receptionist responded, "Oh, no," and then asked for my phone number. When I asked for an estimated return call time or when I should call back if I still had not heard back, I was told 30-40 minutes. An hour had passed before I had to call them again. When I called again and explained that I would be coming into the office in person because I was tired of being ignored and wanted a complete copy of my records. I was again told that someone would need to call me back. I explained that I had already been told that and had not received a call. I then asked the receptionist to confirm the office closing time was 6:30. Her response was, "I think so." When I asked her to verify when the office actually closed, I was placed on hold. Miraculously, within moments, the person I had been waiting to hear from all day suddenly became available and took over the call. During that conversation, I was told that updated estimates had been submitted to my insurance and that treatment would need to be phased anyway due to insurance limitations. This was information I had been trying to obtain for months. I explained that at this point I was not calling about estimates. I was calling because I wanted my complete medical records. I was then told that nobody else in the office would know how to obtain my records and that I should wait until the next day. After months of unanswered questions, no callbacks, and failed follow-up, I declined and stated that I would still be coming in person. Only then was I told that my records could be emailed "right away." Nearly an hour later, I finally received an email containing what appeared to be a copy-and-pasted chart note and embedded images of my X-rays. Despite specifically requesting a complete copy of my records, the materials sent were incomplete. The chart note references photographs, scans, treatment planning information, and communications that were not included in what I received. Even more concerning, the chart note indicates that information regarding treatment options was emailed to me after my appointment. I have never received any such communication from this office after my February visit. My biggest issue is not the diagnosis or treatment recommendations. It is the complete lack of communication, follow-through, accountability, and customer service. Every question, callback request, records request, and clarification required repeated effort on my part. At no point did I feel that anyone was proactively trying to help me. At this point I will be obtaining my records in person, filing a complaint with my insurance, and seeking care elsewhere. Patients should not have to spend months chasing basic information about their own treatment, insurance estimates, and medical records. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office.

Raoul’s comprehensive dental photography and Eric’s gentle, thorough cleaning made me feel incredibly well cared for. Dr. Kim was the highlight of my visit. He was professional, personable, and took the time to get to know me while creating a personalized plan for my dental health. I never felt rushed, and everything was explained clearly and thoroughly. I also appreciated the advanced technology, comfort amenities, and transparency around insurance and costs. This was easily one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve found my new dentist—and since they’re only five minutes from my house, that’s even better. Highly recommend!

I love the people who work there. Anyone who answered the phone were so kind and helpful. Then at my first appointment Renoldo was the best. He made feel so comfortable. Alicia was able to explain to my sister everything that needed to be done. Providing her knowledge of the financial part of my procedure. So helpful!!! Dr Kim was the nicest dentist I have ever met. He explained how the process would be done. Which made me not stress . I know I’m in good hands. Love them all Thank you Mary Brisce

I came in a few months ago for a comprehensive exam and treatment plan which went smoothly but teeth did not follow the plan. I needed a loose, infected tooth removed ASAP. My experience today was GREAT. I was seen within 24 hrs and was in and out the door in 58 minutes! All the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, especially Alicia. Pricing was CLEARLY explained upfront, no surprises. Also, Dr B did a fantastic job numbing me! Yes, it hurt at first but, she was very precise in the application. I never lost feeling in my tongue or throat and didn't feel a thing while she removed the tooth and cleaned the infection out. I'm currently 4 hrs post procedure and although I ache, I've able to talk and drink appropriately the whole time. 10/10 would recommend!

I'm disappointed and in pain after work done here. The hygienists and assistants were reassuring but the dentist said there was no issue, dismissed my concerns and seemed angry that I was there with concerns about the work. The office also used up my exam insurance for the year, even when I expressed that I wanted to be able to have enough for a 6 mo check up. Now I'm at a loss for how to address the painful issues that weren't an issue before coming here. The billing staff are not willing to answer questions and instead say they don't make decisions, they just input the information they are told to and the wait time for each visit was very long, leading me to believe that my visit was sped through to catch up after waiting for so long to be seen.

Hands down the best dental experience every time! The dentist and their team are amazing—kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. The quality of treatment is outstanding, and you can really tell they care about their patients. I always leave feeling confident and well taken care of. Highly recommended!

My dentist’s office is consistently excellent. Dr. Kim and the entire team are always kind, knowledgeable, and professional. The environment is calm, welcoming, and reassuring, which makes every visit feel comfortable and well-run. I truly trust Dr. Kim and his staff with my dental care.

I was with Dr. Baines and wow. i have major dental anxiety and honestly really bad teeth. and this was my first visit in over 10 years. they were non judgmental and caring and i was literally in tears from anxiety. but she was so kind and understanding. Let me run the appointment basically, let me stop her when i was in too much pain. She truly was so wonderful and kind. I’m so grateful to have found a place where i can get the work i need done badly without being shamed. Eternally grateful for this place

I've been with Dr. Kim's dental clinic for a very long time. I left one time and quickly returned. I trust him with my dental health and treatment. The employees are so kind and friendly, they treat you like their family. Dr. Kim also a very humble person, he is kind and patient with me. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to Sierra oaks dental for years. They’re amazing, the office staff is always welcoming. My appointments are always on time and anytime I call with a last minute concern they work hard to get me in to address my needs. I would like to give a special shout out to my dental hygienist Maria. She is amazing, she does such a wonderful job of cleaning my teeth and educates me on ways I can improve my dental hygiene. I highly recommend this office.
