About Silverbell Dental
Tucked along North Silverbell Road on Tucson's west side, Silverbell Dental works as a general practice that reaches comfortably into restorative and specialty territory. Routine cleanings, fillings, and care for tooth decay keep patients healthy day to day, and the office is equipped to handle the heavier work that sometimes follows without an immediate referral out.
The restorative side covers a lot of ground. The team places dental implants, builds crowns and bridges, and fits dentures for patients replacing multiple teeth. Root canal treatment and dedicated endodontics save teeth that are infected or damaged, while gum disease treatment protects the supporting tissue and bone. That combination of endodontic and periodontal attention means patients dealing with both the tooth and its foundation can often stay with one office.
Cosmetic and orthodontic options give patients ways to refine as well as repair. Teeth whitening and veneers improve appearance, broader cosmetic dentistry coordinates those changes, and orthodontics straightens teeth for those bothered by alignment. Affordable dental care is named among the services, which helps frame realistic conversations about treatment for cost-conscious patients.
With this spread, Silverbell Dental suits a range of needs, adults considering implants or dentures, patients needing a root canal handled in-house, and anyone wanting whitening or veneers without switching practices. Emergency dentistry rounds things out, so a cracked tooth or sudden pain has somewhere familiar to go. For west-side Tucson residents near Silverbell Road who would rather not split their care across several specialists, the practice offers a sensible, broad-enough home base. The blend of preventive, restorative, periodontal, and cosmetic services makes it a dependable everyday choice for keeping teeth healthy and functional over the long run. For patients facing a failing tooth, having endodontics, crowns and bridges, and implants in the same place means the path from diagnosis to repair stays under one roof, while dentures and orthodontics give the office the flexibility to serve both older patients replacing teeth and younger ones correcting alignment along Silverbell Road.
Silverbell Dental, on North Silverbell Road on Tucson's west side, covers general and restorative needs, cleanings, fillings, crowns and bridges, root canals, and implants, alongside dentures and endodontic and periodontal care. Orthodontics, whitening, and veneers extend the range, making it a steady option for west-side patients wanting most of their care in one place.

I have been a patient of Dr. Baird’s for over 15 years, and today’s appointment was so upsetting that I left the office in tears. I came in because my crown had become loose, and I was understandably concerned that bacteria and debris could get underneath it. Instead of taking the time to explain what was happening or discuss my treatment options, Dr. Baird responded by saying, “Bacteria is everywhere.” That comment completely dismissed my concerns rather than addressing them. Throughout the appointment, he spoke to me in a rude and condescending manner. I repeatedly tried to understand what was going on and what my options were moving forward, but I was never given a clear explanation or treatment plan. The conversation reached an awkward standstill, leaving me feeling confused, dismissed, and unsupported. I eventually became so overwhelmed that I started crying and told him how stressful this situation was for me and that my dental health is a top priority. Instead of showing empathy or trying to reassure me, he appeared completely indifferent. I told him I did not appreciate being spoken to in such a condescending way, got out of the chair, and left the office. After close to two decades as a loyal patient, I never imagined my relationship with this practice would end this way. Every patient deserves to be treated with respect, compassion, and clear communication—especially when they are anxious and trying to understand their treatment options. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I nor my family will be returning to Dr. Baird’s office.
So after going there they won't clean teeth as a new parents. In all my life going to the dentist they do the exam and the teeth cleaning the same day. They ask what I come there for and told them teeth clean as they told me after my exam sure. That was a lie. Then wanted to schedule me to do stuff I don't need at all. They didn't tell me anything new as I did know already. Will I will fine someone who will clean my teeth as this is where bad health starts.
Total bait and switch operation. My initial evaluation said I needed a deep cleaning and was given a cost breakdown, but was told it was just optional and me signing it was just to acknowledge receiving the paperwork. Then, I scheduled for a regular cleaning. When I went in for the regular cleaning they surprised me by saying that I had to have the deep cleaning first and could not do a regular cleaning until the deep cleaning was performed. They bullshitted me to get me in a dentist chair then hoped I wouldn't object when I already there. Not sure if they are either incompetent or malicious, but I wish I never dealt with this office.
Just a cleaning. I was so wet from the mouth spray. dental hygienist was cold and condescending. Been going here for almost 20yrs but I'm going to switch. My usual person left a year ago. Should have been a red flag.
I can’t say enough about how wonderful Dr. Baird and his staff are. Our family has been going to this office for 10 years now with never a problem. This is the only dentist my kids know. He truly cares and follows up with his patients. I’ve recommended him to multiple people. Keep up the great work!
My family has been going to Silverbell dental for over ten years. It seems to be declining in skill and patient care. The hygienist we had recently was extremely rough and painful. I had fillings done recently and let them know I still had pain and they didn't seem equipped with the medical skill or bedside manner to handle it well. I felt they were just humoring me but didn't believe me. I gave them information about my health that could affect my numbing and the dentist completely ignored me and didn't respond. We are switching dentists.
Love Silverbell Dental and all of the staff. We have been going for at least 5 years now and my family looks forward to their dental visits. Wonderful with kiddos! I recently had a filling done and just had the best experience. Dr. Baird and Eddie worked seamlessly and my filling blends in perfectly! I had to brag and share that this office is just fantastic.
Amazing dental care! Super friendly staff! Dr. Kelly and Dr. Baird are super friendly, and really good at helping you relax during procedures. If you’re afraid of Dental visits they’re really good at relieving that fear and helping you relax. Getting ahold of the office and scheduling/ canceling is really easy. The front desk is very professional and work really fast! Even though I live in California now, I still use Silverbell Dental as my dentist, visit them when ever I go back to Tucson.
