The root canal and crown procedure she performed was executed incorrectly. I encountered issues with it and had to escalate the matter to the Dental Association. I consulted with the head of Smile, who claimed that there was nothing amiss. However, I continued to experience problems. Subsequently, I traveled abroad and required the root canal to be redone by an endodontist, as she had only placed one long root and a shorter one instead of the necessary three roots for a large tooth. One of the roots required two branches. The root canal and crown ultimately failed after three years due to her initial errors in the procedure. Additionally, she applied the incorrect material for the crown. As a result, this tooth now requires an implant. Lizzy's error has cost me over $5,000 USD to rectify. It is evident that she has not received adequate training for this procedure. Will Smile take responsibility? No, the blame has been shifted onto me. I was told by another endodontist at the crown she had put on was too low and why it was always irritated and bothering me plus the canals were not done correctly. Any large tooth or premolar needs to have three roots not just two. This was her mistake and also for her putting the wrong material on the crown which caused me another problem. She will never owe up to the problems she has caused me. She is nice but is she really skilled to do advance work?
I went due to my teeth/gums pain they said they can only do is either extract the tooth or deep clean, when i decided to do deep clean they said they are busy and need to re-appointment, when i ask if they can give me prescription for a medicine they said just buy panadol pain reliever on pharmacy or supermarket, i went home with tooth ache.
Thank you very much to Dr Izzy & her team for making my visit(2 appointments)to get a root canal procedure done at their clinic go so smoothly. This experience I think have more or less made me less afraid or less stressed if I had to visit the dentist again lol lol
Absolutely gorgeous, patient and non-judgemental staff. Going to the dentist had me in my anxiety boots but these guys made me feel so at home and comfortable. Very hygienic and clean practise too. Highly recommend and will be back regularly.
I'm sure experiences vary. Here's mine: went in to get a check and I was quoted $2080 for a root canal treatment. She didn't do any scan and just looked at my teeth for max 2min (i kid you not). Then I went elsewhere for a second opinion (if I was gonna spend that sort of money) and the dentist assured me I just needed a proper filling which including consultation costed $419. This consultation was with a proper xray scan + recommendations and advise. And they did another type of scan as well to get a better look at the molar. I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience. Also, remember to always get that second opinion!
