Dr. Mims is patient, kind, and attentive to my needs as a patient. I appreciate how she guides and teaches her assistants through the entire process helping them learn as she works.

I was really nervous as this was my first appointment in a while, but everyone was super kind and welcoming!

Let me just say. I am one that’s afraid of going to the dentist. It gives me so much anxiety. But this was such a warm calming experience from Eve at the front desk, to the Dentist assistant Taniya and then Dr. Mims herself. Everyone is so warm. They go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and cared for. Which helps me to calm my nerves. I sold on this dentist when i walked in and saw a prayer box. Wow. Dr Mims is so gentle and walk you through everything that’s happening. I look forward to making this my new dental home! Thanks Dr.Mims, Taniya and Eve. Your service is much appreciated. After leaving a dentist (because he and one of his hygienist retired) who I've seen for over 20 years, I reluctantly searched for another dentist closer to home. When I went to the Smile Institute, I truly believe that the staff care for their patients. They made sure that I was not only informed but also comfortable during my visit. This review is long over due and I can’t say enough about my experience at Smile Institute of Family Dentistry. I had been dealing with some awful upper right dental pain after a root canal and crown, and from the moment I stepped in, I was taken care of so well. The dentist was absolutely incredible, she took so much time to understand exactly what was going on. Her whole team was just as wonderful. They made me feel so at ease by playing music that I prefer, offering aromatherapy, offering a blanket, and just having such great conversations that help you feel more at home. I even saw their prayer box, which was such a thoughtful touch. The doctor used advanced technology and her deep knowledge to really pinpoint the issue. After a thorough cleaning and antibiotics, my pain and swelling were gone within just two days. I’m so grateful for all their care. This was a truly exceptional experience. I’ll be coming back for sure, and I’ll be sending everyone I know!

Their staff is always happy, helpful, and they prioritize natural and healthy alternatives before any major work needs to be done. If major work does need to be done, they are transparent and will answer any questions you have. I recommended this dentist for my family, and I would recommend them to others as well.
