Spokane family dental was great! They got me in for my initial appointment. We x-rays, a good cleaning and they were even able to refer me over to an orthodontist! :)

Great experience, online forms prior to appointment, no paperwork in office. Diligent care, great service, good humor. Left with some numbing and a temporary lisp which was a comical way to make an exit. See you guys in 6 months!

The dental staff is always very kind and welcoming. What’s not great is their billing department. I was just sent a bill for services over a year old and another from over 8 months ago and then told my insurance isn’t in network. This is despite finding this office online showing they were in network and both my husband and myself (on separate occasions) being told by the billing department we were in network. There was one issue after my husbands first appointment where he was contacted and told they accidentally had paired him with a dentist during his visit that wasn’t in network with the specific insurance plan, but that they’d pair him with another dentist next time who was covered by our insurance. Totally fine at the time. Well now, over an entire year later I am called by Danielle and told we were never in network at all and only covered by our out of network benefits. When I asked why we were just now being informed of this, Danielle’s first response was that she “inherited these cases from the previous person.” That is not the patient’s problem, so I’m not sure why that’s relevant other than to be used as an excuse to justify their mistake. I also am a health professional who works with insurance. It does not take over a year to determine whether or not someone’s insurance plan is in network. I would have never billed a patient over a year later for something they were explicitly told they were in network for by my business. Very disappointing.

I had been looking for a new dentist for a couple of years now. I kept getting flyers from Spokane Family Dental, would read them, then toss them. I wasn’t ready to leave my family dentist of 40+ years. Fast forward to June 2026, I got a flyer, did some research, made a call and my appointment was made. The person in the phone who answered my plethora of questions, understood that “breaking up withy dentist” was a hard choice and they hoped they could make me happy! I wasn’t ready greeted by Maddie, then taken back by an x-ray person. Along the way, I was shown the offices, pictures of each dentist and their family. Things were explained to me step by step. By the way, the offer blankets. With each new person, I was greeted with a hand shake and a smile. Each and every person in this office was kind, genuine and happy. X-rays were explained, cleaning step by step was explained and offered question time from me. Dr Fisher, I think was her name, was outstanding for explaining what my teeth look like and what procedures could be done if o wanted. I felt no pressure from her to get work done. All in all, I’m sorry I waited so long to find this practice. Thank you Spokane Family Dental, I’ll see you in 6 months!

Every time I come into this office, I feel welcome and heard. The staff always remembers me, which makes each visit feel personal and comfortable. Everyone is friendly, caring, and professional, and they take the time to listen to any questions or concerns I have. The office is clean and inviting, and I always leave feeling well taken care of. I highly recommend this dental office to anyone looking for excellent dental care.
