Wait time is not ok. Our appt was for 9am, there were many other families scheduled at same time. We didn’t end up leaving till 12. The young male dentist didn’t seem to want to explain the treatment plan or why he suggested it— they shouldn’t schedule so many patients at once, maybe then patients will get better explanations. I had to ask a couple times for clarification- I’m not a dentist or dental assistant- they should keep that in mind. Parents should be explained to, and the children should be talked through the procedure. It’s bed side manner. The lady, at front, that invited my kids to pick a toy- was only one that had a nice manner and was real sweet to my kids. My kids don’t need more toys though. We need a dentist that will talk and dental assistants that know how to speak to children and make them feel comfortable (downplaying/dismissing my kid’s discomfort was not ok) and know what to do when my kid is gagging— my kid threw up, thankfully, she didn’t get it all over herself. Showing proactive attention & emotional maturity from the dental assistant & have the dentist say clear explanations would have put me at ease as a mother. Otherwise, It just seems like they want business and making up stuff to get insurance payments.

Everyone at the Mooney location was absolutely amazing. My son has high anxiety with Dentists and they made the whole experience so easy for him. And Renee who did his cleaning was just the absolute best. Ive had a hard time finding a caring dentist for him, I wished we would've come in sooner.

I've had such great experiences at this office. My kids feel so welcome and comfortable with all the staff. The doctors are caring, as well as informative. Always leave feeling well taken care of. 100/10 recommend!

Smileland in visalia is always so kind and extremely gentle with my little ones. I always appreciate the staff and the way they are always quick efficient and do it all with a smile. Thank you for always making both my kiddos and myself comfortable in your office.

Environment was clean & Staff was friendly, we where the first ones in the lobby that arrived at 9 I took two kids but unfortunately the waiting times where horrible for treatment. When I went to go check on my daughter 45minutes later after done with my son they yet didn’t start on her treatment yet that really had upset me we do not leave till 12
