BEST EXPERIENCE EVER !!! I came in with a crown made two years ago in nyc and it was leaking. Dr Escoto helped me with that restoration and gave me the explanation that I needed. I didn’t know it was leaking because it was a root canal tooth and so I didn’t feel any pain but both Dr Escoto and Dr Mantovani worked on that tooth. I didn’t feel any stress at all and overall it was such an amazing experience. The whole team is wonderful and caring. From the front desk girl to the dental hygienist to the dental assistant. Will definitely come back!!

SUPER FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE WITH THIS OFFICE I called ahead to schedule an appointment for a temporary composite on a chipped veneer and was reassured they could handle it using best practices. Prior to my visit, I sent over my insurance information and confirmed that it had been received so coverage could be verified. When I arrived, they did not have my insurance on file, which led to a delay while they tried to verify it. After about 15 minutes, I was told everything was good to go and proceeded with the procedure. During the treatment, while the dentist was already working on my tooth, she asked if my insurance was new and then stated, “You know this isn’t covered by your insurance, right?” At that point, I was unable to respond clearly and was already mid-procedure, so I felt stuck moving forward. After the procedure was completed, I was charged $350. At no point prior to treatment was pricing discussed, nor was I informed that my insurance would not cover the procedure. I was never given an estimate or the opportunity to consent to the cost beforehand. The result itself was also underwhelming the shape of the tooth could have been better and honestly didn’t look much improved from when it was chipped. Overall, the lack of communication, failure to verify insurance ahead of time, and charging a significant amount without prior disclosure made this a very disappointing experience. During the procedure — while I was already mid-treatment and unable to properly respond — the dentist asked if my insurance was new and then stated, “You know this isn’t covered by your insurance, right?” This was the first time anything like that was mentioned, and it was said after the procedure had already started. After the work was completed, I was charged $350. At no point prior to treatment was pricing discussed, no estimate was provided, and I was never given the opportunity to consent to that cost. To make matters worse, the shape of the tooth was botched and the composite completely fell off the same day. For a procedure that was presented as a proper temporary fix, this is unacceptable. Between the failure to verify insurance, lack of cost transparency, and poor quality of work, this experience raises serious concerns about both professionalism and patient care. I will be following up directly regarding this matter. I strongly recommend that anyone considering treatment to go elsewhere never felt more scammed by any doctors office in my life

She took the time to not only clean and fix what I needed, but also made sure all my questions were answered. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care truly stood out. Dr. Escoto has an amazing patient care manner she made me feel comfortable and cared for the entire visit. Highly recommend her!

The staff was exceptional today! From the front desk to the doctor, everyone was professional and friendly. My initial consultation was informative. The follow up plan was given in detail with pricing and explanations on how insurance works in my particular case. I found SoBe Dentist driving to work. Would pass by every morning and decided to call. Very glad I did. Dr. Mantovani and Dr. Escoto are both very professional as well as the staff. SoBe Dentist is accommodating and very friendly. The office has a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere - conveniently located right in South Beach area. Dr. Mantovani helped me achieve a better looking smile with great solutions! I am glad I choose this Dental office. Highly recommend!

This place is a true oasis! After a recent filling mishap led me to search for a new dentist, I stumbled upon this spa-like haven. The ambiance is soothing, complete with calming music, complimentary bottled water, and even a neck pillow for added comfort. The staff is not only super friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable. Dr. Escoto and Dr. Mantovani are truly superb at what they do. Personally, I enjoy my dental visits, but if the thought makes you anxious, SoBe will surely put you at ease. A dental experience that feels more like a retreat!
