I’ve been coming to SoCal Smiles for at least ten years and Helena (the front office) has been here the entire time I’ve been coming. She is amazing! She always helps me schedule multiple appointments at the same time for people at my family to go together. Since Dr Kim has been here I do like him and am choosing to stay at SoCal Smiles. I’m glad that he’s staying because for a while they had dentists that weren’t staying that long.

I really can’t recommend this dental office enough! Walking in feels so easy and comfortable, thanks to the genuinely warm and welcoming environment they’ve created. The staff is incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, and it’s obvious they truly care about their patients and making each visit a great experience. No matter how much time has passed between visits, Helena and Dr. Kim always recognize you right away and make you feel like a valued, familiar face. I have been coming here for the last 5 or so years after a terrible series of experiences at a large nationwide chain with a location in Costa Mesa; it has been night and day switching to SoCal Smiles. I’ve had nothing but pleasant encounters each visit, so much so that I referred my husband to become a patient here too! Helena at the front desk and the dental assistants are very personable and take the time to go through any potential concerns with teeth or billing. Dr. Kim is approachable and non-judgmental and was a big reason why I continued coming to SoCal Smiles, even after moving 20 miles south. He has now been joined by Dr. Lai as the other in-house provider, who my husband and I now see and the transition has been seamless.
