About Solace Dentistry
Solace Dentistry operates on Park Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. Holistic, or biological, dentistry applies standard dental diagnosis and treatment within an approach that emphasises material choice and conservative treatment, considering oral health as connected to the body more broadly rather than treating the mouth in isolation.
Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.
A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.
Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.
Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.
Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost. Amy is an awesome dental hygienist. Great Cleaning. Newly renovated office is very warm and inviting. Dr Relkin rocks! Thanks!
My kids and I love coming here! The kids actually enjoy the cleaning are very comfortable the whole time. Everyone is very nice!
Very professional
Great experience as always
Just had my first appointment in 2026 and was very impressed. - The front desk was very polite and easygoing, not feeling rushed. - My hygienist provided a great experience, wasn’t rough at all with my cleaning and was very thorough. - Dr. Emily Relkin and her team helped me feel comfortable, and provided the relief I needed with a new crown and saving a tooth from a potentially bad crack. Overall highly recommend this dentist practice. -J.Sieminski
I have always had the best experience at Solace Dentistry. I get extremely anxious about going to the dentist, but Dr. Amanda Linch is incredible and so is the entire staff. The hygienist I saw, Ashley, was so wonderful and she immediately put my nerves at ease, I wanted to hug her before leaving haha. They deliver care with such a high level of professionalism and compassion, I can’t recommend them enough! I hope they know how appreciated they are!!
I’m so pleased with my experience at Solace Dentistry yesterday, particularly with Dr. Emily, who went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Rather than pushing past my anxiety, she responded with genuine compassion, patience, and a calm, matter-of-fact presence that made all the difference. It’s rare to feel that truly seen and care for in a medical setting. I can’t recommend her enough!
Always the personal touch at Solace. I have been a patient for more than 20 years now, I will not go anywhere else. They always take good care of me and I love the fact how everyone is so freindly and as well as professional. Highly recommend them.
From the moment I walked into Solace Dentistry, I felt completely at ease. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and every member of the staff contributes to a genuinely positive experience. Dr. Linch was incredibly friendly, thorough, and took the time to explain all of my options in a way that made me feel informed and confident. The hygienist was equally fantastic—she walked me through each step of the process, which made everything feel smooth and transparent. What really stood out was how non-invasive the entire visit felt. Dare I say, it was actually enjoyable! They use the latest equipment and clearly take a forward-thinking approach to dental care, which made me feel like I was in excellent hands. I highly recommend Solace Dentistry to anyone looking for a modern, compassionate, and professional dental team.
