A very good experience with the dental coordinator (Gisel), she was a sweetheart! You can tell she loves her job. She helped me with my appointment and was attentive to all my questions.
I didn't want to write this review, but given the results I'm getting, I felt the need to share my experience. Scheduling the appointment was very easy, and the staff was friendly, but it's been over a month since I got the filling, and I'm still having discomfort in that tooth. I know it's that tooth because it's uncomfortable when I eat. It's not a severe pain, but it's very uncomfortable. I called to explain, and they told me to wait a few days, but when I went back for my next appointment, for an extraction, I explained it to them in person, and they contradicted me. They said it might be something else and that I need more tests. I explained that it was that tooth because that's where they did the filling, and it's been hurting ever since. It's very uncomfortable when I eat, and I can't eat comfortably.
I love the attention from the entire team; they always greet you with such kindness and smiles. They truly make you feel welcome and like family. Everyone speaks both Spanish and English. The doctors are the best in Austin. Congratulations!
Dr. Cruz is a wonderful periodontist - so intelligent and skillful in giving his patients the best service with great outcomes. He is personable, delightful and kind. He assures his patients that his services results in great outcomes. He explains in detail the dental procedure or surgery he will perform so the patient will be informed as to what is involved which helps the patient understand what he is doing. I highly recommend Dr. Cruz to anyone who is looking for superior dental outcomes - Dr. Cruz is the best in his field. I had a super good experience and a super good outcome on my gum grafting surgery.
I just had a surgical procedure with Dr. Cruz and Anette and they were the most amazing team for this. The best surgeon and bedside manners by both of them from beginning to end. I was comfortable, no pain during procedure, and I kept coming in and out of a nap during surgery. I am extremely impressed as how comfortable and pain free this was. I highly recommend them!! I was always really nervous to get my wisdom teeth out. I had heard stories that my friends had gotten them removed, and it was the worst experience they had ever had. That was not the case with Sonrisas. I entered there and was greeted with smiles. Dr. Cruz was super reassuring and said that the procedure was going to be successful. The managed to remove a huge wisdom tooth that was nearly going to fuse itself with my cheekbone (if i remember correctly). I am so thankful for everyone in Sonrisas for being so kind and supportive towards this procedure. I 100% recommend this place to every person removing any wisdom teeth!
Sonrisas is the best choice when searching for a Dental Assistant Program. The instructors are so kind and helpful, they always make sure you understand the material. The balance between lectures and hands on activities was so helpful! I am a hands on learner so to read about the material and then go straight into practicing what we learned really helped me retain the information. They also help with job placement and are INCREDIBLE at it! I received a job offer from a place they referred me to two weeks before I even graduated. If you’re looking for the best DA program in the Austin area this is it.
