I came in today for a routine dental exam, which my Guardian insurance covers. When I checked in, the front desk employee, Caroline, insisted that I had to pay $100. I explained that, based on my dental plan, those services should be covered, but she repeatedly argued that I was wrong. Because my daughter had already been taken back for her appointment, I had to call my insurance company while standing in the office. The Guardian representative had to explain to Caroline that my preventive services were, in fact, covered under my plan. This experience left me feeling very uncomfortable. It seemed like the office was trying to collect money for services that my insurance covered, which raised concerns for me. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, there was no apology or accountability. I also had an appointment scheduled for myself today, but after this experience, I canceled it. If my daughter hadn’t already been in the middle of her appointment, I would have left as well. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and based on how this situation was handled, I would not recommend this office.

Dr McCarron is one of the best! From listening to injecting to working the proper treatment. I have come to her because another practitioner at a different practice missed the nerve and couldn't numb me. I first went to the clinic and spoke to her i wanted to tell her how nervous i was after what happened. I loved her energy and vibe. So calm, so confident and very patient. i have gone back to her few times now to take care of multiple procedures. She is amazing ! One of the BEST honestly. Thank you so much Dr. McCarron. I have been trying to find a dentist for a long time and I finally found them. From start to finish, Caroline and team were friendly, engaged and ensured the entire process went smoothly. Dentist and hygienist were amazing and made the entire experience amazing. Highly recommended!!

I I haven’t been to a dentist in many years from fear, and the cost. But Every single person in this office was so nice and kind it made the entire process easy and manageable. I haven’t found a nicer dental office in many years.

Excellent dental team. Dr Bocash is amazing and his staff is AWESOME TOO!! Having a dentist with knowledge and morality is a great combo - he never pushes unnecessary treatments. Nothing but positive experiences here!!

Dr.Mccarrom was so sweet I had to get two root canals and she explained everything to me prepped my teeth to see the specialist the week after and was so caring and I have a big fear of needles and she was so smooth with it I didn’t feel nothing she took her time and I am more than satisfied with her work! 100% recommend this location and these wonderful dentist for your next treatment or exam! Dr. Wadia and staff are very professional and knowledgeable. Before my procedure i was anxious, Dr. Wadia explain indetail what i would be going though. I was amazed on how smooth the procedure went for me. I wholeheartedly recommend South Oceanside Dental Elvia : )

I’ve been a patient of South Oceanside Dental since 2017. I saw Carolyn the dental hygienist and she made me feel super comfortable during my visit. She is very knowledgeable and gave me great tips to make teeth healthier and cleaner. I highly recommend her. She was also really nice.

This Doctor Dr. bocash is fabulous. My tooth was loose. I was very stressed out. I thought I was gonna have no teeth in my mouth and he made me feel so comfortable. I walked out with a smile and very happy I would recommend him to anyone. Have a great day.

Dr McCarron Clearly explained the 45-60 "Deep Cleaning" procedure clearly before starting. Amazingly, before I realized it, she was done, and I didn't feel any pain or soreness. She's a superbly talented Dentist. Kudos also to Carolyn, the Dental Hygienist--they are an awesome Team. VM

After several months and methods of searching for a new Dentist, I am so happy I found Dr Danielle McCarron at South Oceanside Dental Group. They are conveniently located in my Trader Joe's parking lot. Dr McCarron answered my questions, facing me, and building trust. In my first apointment yesterday, she replaced a crown, with gentle expertise, highly qualified. 3D imagery, new crown made in in-house lab, same day placement, and have scheduled the next two apointments. I have already recommended her to two of my neighbors on the dog walk.
