About Southeastern Dental Center

Three depths of sedation on one service list tell you something about the appointments this office expects to run. Nitrous oxide, oral sedation and intravenous sedation cover the range from a nervous cleaning to a full-arch surgical day, and Southeastern Dental Center schedules all of it at 3650 Gurley Drive in north Columbus, in the same building as routine general care. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, the office closes at weekends, same- or next-day appointments are available for urgent problems, and a second office operates in Hamilton, north of the city in Harris County.

The practice keeps implant and cosmetic dentistry together: single-tooth implants, implant-supported bridges, arch-wide rebuilds on the All-on-4 protocol, and same-day implant options, alongside crowns, veneers, bonding and whitening. General care runs through the same office — cleanings, fillings, root canals, extractions and periodontal therapy — so someone who needs gum disease brought under control before implants can be placed does not have to find a second practice for that first phase.

Implant quotes are where most people get lost, and rarely because anyone is being dishonest. One price includes the abutment and the crown. Another covers only the fixture in the bone. A third assumes a bone graft that nobody has yet explained. The staff here are used to walking through what a quote actually covers before anything is scheduled, and that is a conversation worth having on paper rather than across a desk.

Honest framing on full-arch treatment: All-on-4 replaces an entire arch on four to six implants, and the bridge fitted on surgery day is a provisional one. The permanent restoration usually follows several months later, once the implants have integrated with the bone and the tissue has settled. Anyone describing the whole process as finished in a single day is leaving that step out. Cost moves with bone volume, the number of implants, and whether extractions and grafting come first, so a scan and a written treatment plan are what turn a vague range into a real number you can budget against.

If dental anxiety is the reason years have passed since your last visit, say so on the first phone call rather than in the chair. Sedation changes what has to happen beforehand, including fasting and arranging someone to drive you home, and it is far easier to build into an appointment than to add on the day.

Southeastern Dental Center works from Gurley Drive in Columbus and keeps implant, cosmetic and general dentistry under one roof: single-tooth implants, implant-supported bridges, full-arch and All-on-4 restorations, crowns, veneers, whitening, cleanings, root canals and periodontal therapy. Sedation is available at three levels, from nitrous oxide through oral sedation to IV. Weekday hours run 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with same- or next-day appointments for urgent problems, and a sister office operates in Hamilton to the north.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sedation options does this office offer?
Three levels are available. Nitrous oxide is inhaled, wears off within minutes and lets you drive yourself home. Oral sedation is a tablet taken beforehand that leaves you drowsy and needing a ride. Intravenous sedation goes deepest and is generally reserved for longer surgical appointments such as multiple extractions or full-arch implant placement. Which one suits you depends on the procedure length and how you have reacted to dental treatment before.
Is All-on-4 genuinely completed in one day?
Not entirely. Implants are placed and a provisional fixed bridge is attached during the same visit, so you leave with teeth rather than an empty arch. The final bridge is made later, typically several months on, once the implants have fused with the bone and the gum contours have stabilised. The temporary is functional and looks like teeth, but treating it as the finished result sets the wrong expectation.
Do I need my gum disease treated before implants can be placed?
Usually yes. Implants sit in bone, and active periodontal infection destroys the bone they depend on, so placing a fixture into an untreated mouth raises the risk of failure. Periodontal therapy is carried out at this office, which means the stabilising phase and the surgical phase can be sequenced by the same team rather than split between two practices with separate records and separate timelines.

Dr Hannah Jepperson was friendly and honest. Ms Kenzie was friendly and courteous and so were the receptionists 8/5/26 I wanted to especially thank Dr Hannah Jepperson for diagnosing me. I went in there thinking I had a loose molar. She diagnosed me through xray. Said my left sinus looked swollen. She put me on some medication. Two doses into the medication and I'm already feeling the loose tooth sensation going away. Thank you very much

Hello beautiful people of Southeastern Dental Center. I would like to express how impressed I was with the service my husband and I received with the staff. Everyone was outstandingly courteous, professional and truly happy. They made us feel like a part of their family. We are a part of the retired military medical family. The staffing interaction made it felt like we were back with our old medical teams again which were absolutely pleasurable. As patients we enjoyed the conversation and the education of the staff and doctors. Thank you Dr. Johnson, Ms. Amanda, and Ms. Kylie I hope I'm spelling your name correctly 😁. We have been all over the world as traveling, military members and hands down this has been the best experience my husband and I have ever received. We will recommend friends and family to Southeastern Dental Center. Once again thank you for your great hospitality.

I love when Ebony cleans my teeth! I always hated going to the dentist as a kid, but she makes every visit feel so much easier and more comfortable now!! This office overall has made every visit a breeze. I had a root canal there and a filling on my two front teeth and you literally cannot tell I ever had work done 🥰. They did an amazing job every visit. I love both Dr. Jeppeson and his wife, along with their entire staff!

Front desk staff is SUPER sweet! They got me back so quick both times I've been so far! Dentist Hannah is absolutely amazing, she's so sweet and understanding! Their office also gives out things while you're there to make sure you're comfortable! (Water, coffee, pillow/blanket if I'm not mistaken)! They work with you on payment plans SO well; Definitely 10/10

i came to them needing an emergency tooth extraction and i was able to be seen next day, with the tooth extracted and all pain gone, too. the people here are genuinely the kindest, warmest, most understanding people you’ll ever meet. no judgement, no really probing questions, just genuine concern for my comfort. i haven’t been able to afford the dentist until now, and they made me feel like i’d been there my whole life. even when i had a panic attack mid extraction, they were understanding and immediately stopped to make sure i was calm and collected and okay before continuing. 100/10 recommend for literally anything you need done. they care so much for their patients, they talk to you like a friend and not a stranger. the news i got was relatively easy to digest because they were kind, straightforward, and eager to help answer any questions i had.

Awesome!!!! The office staff very welcoming and professional from moment I was called back greeting me with a new patient gift. My dental hygienist Ebony was patient with my care given my past experiences at my previous dental office that caused me extreme anxiety of going to the dentist. She explained to me their office process during cleaning which included my exam. Overall experience was amazing with medical assistant and dental hygienist. When I thought it couldn’t get any better I was introduced to my dentist Dr. Sean. He was fantastic with explaining my condition and plan of care, just an overall friendly individual. Needless to say I will be referring my family and friends to this practice. 9 out of 10 based on cost, however you pay for what you get.
