About Southern Smiles Mobile
Southern Smiles is located on Airport Boulevard in Mobile, a busy corridor that makes the office convenient for patients across the city. The practice is built on general dentistry, providing routine exams, cleanings, and preventive care, and it broadens that foundation with an extensive array of restorative, periodontal, and alignment services. That breadth means patients can address many different concerns in one place rather than being sent elsewhere for specialized work.
The restorative and periodontal offerings give the practice real depth. Patients can receive dental implants and dental crowns to replace and repair teeth, along with endodontic care and treatment for tooth decay. For gum-related concerns, the office provides periodontics and gum disease treatment, protecting the foundation that keeps teeth healthy and stable. Those facing sudden problems can turn to emergency dentistry, and extractions are available when a tooth cannot be saved.
Alignment and comfort-focused care round out the picture. Patients wanting straighter teeth can choose between orthodontics and Invisalign clear aligners, depending on their needs and preferences, while cosmetic dentistry addresses the overall look of the smile. For anxious patients, sedation dentistry helps make treatment more manageable, and the emphasis on affordable dental care signals an awareness of cost and a willingness to prioritize treatment sensibly for budget-minded patients.
Southern Smiles is well suited to Mobile patients and families who want a versatile practice capable of handling routine care, restorative work, gum treatment, and alignment all under one roof. People considering implants, those needing periodontal care, patients weighing braces or Invisalign, and anyone who benefits from sedation will find a fitting range of services here. With its convenient Airport Boulevard location and its comprehensive service mix, the practice gives patients a dependable place to address a wide variety of dental needs and work toward a healthier, straighter smile. For Mobile patients who want routine care, gum treatment, and alignment options handled by one team, that breadth means fewer referrals and a more connected experience over the course of their care.
Southern Smiles on Airport Boulevard in Mobile offers general and cosmetic care alongside implants, periodontics, orthodontics, Invisalign, and sedation dentistry for varied patient needs.

The staff and Doctor Krempa were awesome. If you are looking for dentist, please call Southern Smiles for great service.
My first visit, I’m impressed. Everyone was nice and professional. The Doctor was confident and concern for my health. Highly recommend
Excellent service and very professional.
Had one of the best experiences at a dentist office in my adult life. Saw Dr. Krempa and his hygienist Liz. Liz was very knowledgeable and explained a lot of the how, why and what while performing my cleaning, which I don’t recall anyone ever doing before. I came away with a better understanding of how to better care for my teeth and she even cleaned areas no one had bothered to pay much attention to previously. Dr. Krempa was very down to earth and reassured me that some problem areas that previous dentists had wanted to perform very expensive (and likely unnecessary) procedures on were not as bad as I feared. Would absolutely recommend this team to any newcomers. I know others who also see Dr. Friedlander and only have great things to say about her as well!
Dr Krempa is the real deal. No lectures just solid advice on how to take care of your teeth and how it benefits your overall well being. I would not say you look forward to going to his office but you won't dread going there either! Great staff as well!
By far the best dental experience. Beth was absolutely AMAZING. She calmed my dental anxiety by explaining everything and monitoring whether or not I was comfy. Tiffany at the reception desk was so pleasant in making sure I had my next appointments scheduled and explained everything in detail. I have found my new dental home!
PLEASE READ. i had been putting off doing a review but finally got around to it. i have had a ok experience here except a few times. once when i was getting a cavity filled, the dentist’s father (who was either retired or supposed to be retire, and i say that because they had him shaking and still trying to perform a cavity filled and had to be supervised by one of the assistants) he filled in a cavity and didn’t do it right so i had to come back and the son fixed me. the son does a great job. i don’t know why they had the father roaming around while he looked like he had parkinson’s. (this was a few years ago) but the main issue i had besides the father, my last ever appointment with them i was traumatized. i came in for a crown and then they ended up removing me tooth. i never expected them to use pliers and yank the tooth out. as if finding out they are going to remove me tooth wasn’t bad enough, they had to numb me several times cause it hurt bad. i remember crying afterwards. they didn’t have no sympathy and i even emailed them how upset i was and they didn’t reply. they also charged me hundreds of dollars for my tooth to get sent off to prep for an implant and never got that transferred to my new dentist (i ended up moving cities). i had been going here for 7 years and it was very unfortunate my last experience with them was so bad. also the lady that checks you out would always look at me weird. as if i wouldn’t afford dental care. it was very uncomfortable.
They have the most friendliest staff my first time there and they made me feel like we have known each other a lifetime. Mrs. Dana did an amazing job cleaning my teeth and actually listened to my concerns about my teeth. She gave me great advice to help with my issues and free samples to try. By the far the best experience I ever had at the dentist!
