I wanted to leave this feedback in hopes the team actually reviews it. My husband booked our son's final appointment for a date in September. A few days before, the staff called to say they couldn't honor the appointment because their calendar hadn't been set when it was originally booked. It's unclear why they would schedule an appointment with a client in the first place if they can't guarantee it. . Instead of taking ownership of the scheduling error, the person on the phone placed the blame on my husband for booking the appointment saying “we told him when we scheduled the appointment our calendar wasnt up to date” and then offered him a date/time that he accepted under the impression they were offering something they could honor. They ended up rescheduling for two days later, but the way it was handled was frustrating and unprofessional. When I raised these concerns on the phone, the staff member I spoke with was dismissive and unapologetic. I don't typically leave reviews like this, but given how the conversation went, I felt it was important to share. If your office schedules an appointment and later needs to change it due to an internal calendar issue, that responsibility should be owned by the business, not placed on the client.

Insanely amazing. I had gone to 3 other orthodontists to get checked, and Dr. Speaks was the only one that was completely frank with what needs to be done and what the timeline would be. Other people told me it would take 6 months, which would not have solved my bite problem. Dr. Speaks told me 15 months, and although that is not what you want to hear, it was the truth and the team did a fantastic job. They also use angel aligners instead of invisalign which maintain their clearness throughout the process. I couldn’t be happier and I felt it was well worth the price. Amazing!

Great place to get straight teeth for children, teens and adults. Personable and professional staff and exceptionally clean and welcoming environment. Both of my children have beautiful aligned teeth and I’m almost done with my treatment as well! We love Dr. Speaks and would recommend his orthodontic practice to anyone seeking a beautiful smile!

My daughter had a very noticeable crossbite and was constantly biting her cheeks while chewing. Our previous orthodontist attempted to get her approved for braces through insurance, but after the initial denial, they told us it wasn’t worth appealing. Thankfully, our new dentist referred us to Dr. Speaks. From the very first visit, Dr. Speaks immediately recognized the issue and took the time to thoroughly explain the problem, the treatment process, and what we could expect. His team submitted the insurance claim, and when it was denied, they didn’t stop there. They fought for us by filing a strong appeal and resubmitting all the necessary documentation. Thanks to their persistence and attention to detail, my daughter was approved and is now on her way to a beautiful new smile. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Speaks and his entire team, especially Dahlia for their dedication and hard work. Beyond getting the insurance approval, they treat every patient with genuine kindness, patience, and respect. We’re so happy our paths crossed with this wonderful practice! Highly recommend.

We’ve been with Speaks Orthodontics for three years and every visit was a breeze. The service is impeccable and every issue and question is always addressed promptly. My kids felt welcomed in the clinic and were always greeted with smiles and of course looked forward to playing Mr Pac-Man. Highly recommend.

Best ortho of all times. Seriously! I went to 3 others who told me all sorts of weird stuff and he had no problem moving my wisdom teeth over to missing teeth spots which saved me like 3 implants in the long term. Super sweet office and knowledgeable doc! I am going to miss them!

Dr. Speaks and team have been so wonderful throughout the process of my Spark Aligners! They are incredibly consistent and compassionate. The staff has always been so welcoming and kind - always taking the time to answer any questions I have and making each appointment feeling personable and not rushed. I'm so grateful for the team and smile with confidence these days.

I went in for a free consultation for jaw pain. Dr. Speaks was incredibly thorough and spent time patiently explaining what he was seeing and teaching me how to treat it. Turns out I do not need orthodontia! The front desk staff were very nice and Dalia, who is the treatment coordinator, was also very kind. 10/10 from me! Oh, and my grandson is being treated by Dr. Speaks and he and his parents are very happy so far.

Very happy with my experience with Dr. Speaks and his staff! I needed a tooth extracted due to crowding, and after 1.5 years of treatment, my smile looks perfect. You can’t even tell a tooth was removed—there’s no gap at all. I truly appreciate the care, attention to detail, and great results. Highly recommend!
