About Stone Dental

Stone Dental is located at 21710 Maxham Meadow Way in Woodstock, Vermont — a combined dental implant and general dentistry practice in one of Vermont's most celebrated and affluent small towns. Woodstock is a historic village of approximately 3,000 residents in Windsor County, consistently rated among the most beautiful small towns in New England and the United States for its Federal and Greek Revival architecture, covered bridges, a town green with working Paul Revere bell, and proximity to the Ottauquechee River valley and the Green Mountain forest. Maxham Meadow Way is a road in the meadow environs outside the Woodstock village center, reflecting the practice's rural-suburban setting within Woodstock's broader township landscape. The practice name "Stone" evokes Vermont's geological identity — the Green Mountain State's granite and marble heritage — and may also carry a practitioner surname association.

Stone Dental provides both dental implant treatment and general dentistry for patients in Woodstock and the surrounding Windsor County communities, including Quechee, Hartland, Bridgewater, and the affluent second-home community that makes Woodstock a destination for wealthy out-of-state buyers. Dental implants — titanium fixtures placed into the jawbone to support crown, bridge, or denture restorations — are the premier tooth-replacement solution for missing teeth, and their inclusion alongside general dentistry positions Stone Dental to serve both routine dental maintenance and the more complex restorative needs of patients who require tooth replacement. Woodstock's affluent patient base — combining year-round residents with seasonal second-home owners from Boston, New York, and Hartford — can support the higher investment of implant treatment compared to less affluent rural Vermont communities.

Woodstock's position on U.S. Route 4 between Rutland (30 miles west) and White River Junction (15 miles east) gives Stone Dental a catchment that extends through the Ottauquechee River Valley to neighboring Windsor County communities. Specialist referrals for periodontics or oral surgery point to providers in the White River Junction-Lebanon-Hanover Upper Valley dental market accessible via Route 4.

For Woodstock and Windsor County patients seeking dental implants and general dental care in Vermont's most iconic village setting, Stone Dental on Maxham Meadow Way provides implant-capable dentistry within a quintessentially beautiful Vermont landscape.

I chipped my front tooth and was really worried about how noticeable it would be. The office got me in right away, and Dr. Elena Fotiadis completely exceeded my expectations. She didn’t just repair the chip—she made my tooth look even better than it did before. The bonding looks so natural that my husband actually thought my other front tooth had been fixed, because you can tell it’s bonded up close—but hers blends perfectly and looks completely natural. Her work was so impressive that I’m actually going back to have my other front tooth redone to match. It never bothered me before, but after seeing the beautiful result she created, I want them to match perfectly. Dr. Elena Fotiadis is kind, meticulous, and extremely talented. I rarely write reviews, but she absolutely deserves the recognition. If you need cosmetic dental work, especially bonding on front teeth, I highly recommend her.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Without them I would be in a great deal of pain. With charismatic, empathetic and graceful demeanors everyone that has helped me has been absolutely wonderful. Very thankful for the staff and especially Dr Margaret!

During my initial visit, complete with X-rays, a lengthy, comprehensive meeting with Dr. J. Janisse, and my assessment for future dental work, every person I encountered from arrival until I left was welcoming, knowledgeable and kind. I felt heard, unafraid and respected. The next day, I received both a written list (by email) and a phone call explaining all costs and a time breakdown of each phase of my dental work. I start in March and will write a review of how that goes, but I (normally terrified of dentists) have every confidence that I will be in good hands.

I live 2 hours away from Woodstock and could have gotten my full upper and lower done at a different closer place and while my sister was driving me there she said why all the way out here in Woodstock and I didn't have a good answer but I like the people and when I got out of surgery and when we were driving out of there my sister said I can see now why you picked this place! if you're going to get implants make sure you check this place out even if you're planning on going somewhere else these are some of the most professional friendly people I've ever seen for dental work. I have to see these people once a month and I have to say I'll miss seeing them especially Dr Margaret. What a lovely person! I would recommend sunset valley Dental to anybody that needs dental work. I don't do a lot of reviews so impressive it must be.

Wonderful to have a place like Sunset who offers all dental care under one roof with expertise, compassion and technology. Just had implant done and it was not worth the pre surgery worry as it was quick and painless. Even after are at home was easy and went great. Highly recommend this office. Dr. Janisse takes his time and couldn’t be nicer, And his assistant Devin is awesome too.
