I've gone to Stonewalk since 2023 for my regular appointments and cleaning! However, in the past year, I've had many unexpected dental issues that came up. This is where Stonewalk really stood out to me in my journey. I've always had bad dental anxiety ever since I had a bad experience in college. This made me very hesitant to go to the dentist and I slacked on my dental care during COVID. So, when I had bad dental pain last year, I decided I should go get it checked out instead of ignoring the pain. This was the right idea -- I discovered I needed a root canal. Throughout the whole process of getting a referral to the endodontist for the root canal itself, and then getting a temp crown/permanent crown here, Dr. Lee and the staff were by my side supporting me. Lu, the Lead Dental Assistant, was always so sweet and comforting, making me feel safe and welcome. Dr. Lee was amazing as usual, so informative and efficient and caring. They always made sure I felt okay and informed during the procedures. This year, I've had another root canal and some other fillings done, and I could not have asked for a better team to continue my dental health journey with. It has made me a lot more comfortable with the dentist, and had me realize how important it is to stay on top of taking care of my teeth and being proactive.
I went to have a crown reattached. The dentist reattached the crown and the next day it fell out again. I called and they refused to reattach the crown. They said I needed to pay $1400 to have a new one made. I asked for my crown to be reattached and I believe, as a paying customer, I should have my request completed. At the very least, I should have a refund for the cost of the original attachment. This also was not offered. Instead they tried to upsell me. Very unhappy with this practice. Now I’m left with a missing crown.
TLDR - Go to an independent family owned dentistry instead of Private Equity backed Stonewalk. Terrible establishment that sold to Private Equity and went down significantly in quality. They have long wait times for appointments, I have never seen a doctor in the years I have been going in the last few years, even tho I was told I would and probably get billed for a doctor’s visit. Staff is rude, customer service is non existent and they never honor the appointment times, expect a 15-20m wait. They have not sent me my medical records even after 30 days of requesting them, this is non compliance with HIPPA and I will be reporting them to the Department of Health.
Dr Lee is a very competent and caring dentist! I've never had a dental visit in my life without pain and anxiety, Dr Lee does her best to minimize this with her patients and is always so very helpful and reassuring not to mention her dental work is top rate as well. Out of the numerous dentists I have been to in the metro area I'm happy to see and be a patient of Dr Lee's and I highly recommend her to whoever is in need of a very good dentist.
HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!! My first bad experience was about 6 months ago. I waited 3 hours in the waiting room. No one ever came out to tell me they were running behind. I walked out. I thought i would give them another chance, well that didn't go well. I was quoted a price of $190 was due never told price could change. When I arrived for my appointment, I was on time. I was told my fee was $327 now. Receptionist told me the billing lady was running late. I waited an 35 minutes before being told the lady would be in office in about 15 minutes. She never showed up an hour and 10 minutes later a different lady took me back and said you have to pay that or I can reschedule. I asked to speak to office manager, office manager was not in this day. I could not cancel and go else due to the fact that I would lose my $100 deposit. This will be my last time in due to Front office staff inconsistencies. NOT RECOMMENDED.
