Doctor Clifford Harris is professional, knowledgeable, efficient, kind and very caring! He uses all the new and latest technology, like Laser! I was so impressed! My second visit without Novocain! He took the time to explain in detail the laser process. Fascinating! His assistant is the absolute sweetest and has been there for over a decade. Her personality, professionalism, efficiency and caring make this duo top notch! Upon entering I was greeted with the smiles, kindness and concern of Dr. Harris’ darling wife and April. Lastly, probably the best hygienist, Allison, who guided me through with her professionalism, efficiency, care and laughter, that is infectious. A darling person! I never thought I would say this, but, I actually enjoyed my entire experience at the dentist! This is a team you can appreciate!

(This was my dentist from 2018 - 2020) I absolutely love this place! I love the doctor, love the receptionist, and love the dental assistants. Since my very first visit they've taken great care of me. My teeth are a piece of work, and they've worked with me to figure out a treatment plan just for me. A major plus is they are able to do same day crowns. They also have all of the latest and greatest technology in their office. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a great dentist. Additional note - I got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled at once, and it was the BEST experience. All my meds were sent to the pharmacy prior to extraction day. I didn’t have to be put to sleep. I paid extra to have my blood pulled and my gaze soaked in it for once I was finished. I rant and rave to people that my face didn’t swell for that exact reason.

Summit Dental and Orthodontics is a incredible practice. Everyone across the board are fantastic. The front staff are politehe and professional, the hygienists are thorough with high attention to detail, and Dr. Harris is an excellent dentist.

Dr. Harris did a great job (as usual) today. He was thoughtful, careful and clearly articulated what he was doing. Dr. Harris is the best dentist I have ever had. I am always impressed with his high-level of expertise in dentistry. He is in the right profession.

Visit one: a seed of doubt. I came in knowing I needed a root canal and a crown. What I didn't expect was to be told that the crown next to it would also need to be replaced. An explanation was offered that I didn't fully follow, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured we'd revisit it when the time came. Still, it planted a question in my mind about whether this practice prioritizes patient interest over revenue. Same visit: that question got louder. After my cleaning, the hygienist recommended CloSYS mouthwash for inflammation, describing it as a specialty product worth its $30 price. When I got home, I found it listed on the Closys website itself for $12. The markup wasn't the issue - the framing was. It was presented as something premium that justified the cost. That felt deliberately misleading, and coming right after the two-crown recommendation, it elevated my concern from a seed to something real. Records transfer: the pattern completed itself. When I moved and needed my x-rays forwarded to my new dentist, I signed the release and followed up three times over a week with a clear deadline. No response. When my new dentist's office called directly, Summit claimed they had never heard from me - which is false, as I have all three emails (see attached photo.) My new dentist's staff also reported encountering attitude and pushback, despite this being a routine patient rights matter. The crown verdict. My new dentist reviewed the situation independently and found that the second crown was not necessary. Each of these things might be explainable in isolation. Together, they tell a consistent story. To their credit, the dentist is thorough, the equipment is modern, and the hygienist was skilled and personable - I have no reason to doubt their technical expertise. But competence and trustworthiness are both required. I'd encourage prospective patients to go in with eyes open.

Hands down, Summit Dental and Orthodontics are the best in the metro area. The staff are professional and courteous, before, during, and after your visit.
