About Sunnyvale Dentist
Based on West El Camino Real in Sunnyvale, California, Sunnyvale Dentist is a dental practice serving the area. A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root, not just the crown — a small titanium post is placed in the jaw bone and, once it has integrated over a period of months, a replacement tooth is attached to it. It is generally the most durable option for a single missing tooth or several.
A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.
Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the space, and allows the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted. Its reputation for being painful is largely outdated — carried out under local anaesthetic, it typically relieves pain rather than causing it.
Wisdom teeth are removed when they are impacted, repeatedly infected, decayed, or damaging the tooth in front, since they arrive last and often into a jaw with no room left. Not every wisdom tooth needs to come out — one that erupts cleanly and can be kept clean is often left alone.
A sealant is a thin protective coating applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth, where the deep grooves collect plaque and food that brushing struggles to reach. It is most often applied to children's permanent molars shortly after they come through, though adults can benefit too.
TMJ treatment addresses pain, clicking, or restricted movement in the jaw joint, often linked to teeth grinding, clenching, injury, or stress. A custom night guard is the most common starting point, reducing strain on the joint and surrounding muscles. Services Offered
Dental Implants
Dental implants replace missing teeth with a post set in the jaw and topped with a custom crown, restoring chewing function and limiting bone loss.
Veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin, custom shells bonded to the front of the teeth to address chips, gaps, and discoloration as part of a smile plan.
Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment removes infected tissue from inside a tooth, relieving pain and saving a tooth that might otherwise need extraction.
Crowns & Bridges
Crowns and bridges repair and replace damaged or missing teeth — a crown caps a weakened tooth, while a bridge spans the gap left by lost teeth.
Dental Sealants
Dental sealants place a thin protective coating on the chewing surfaces of back teeth, helping prevent decay in children and adults.

Awesome service at Sunnyvale Dental Care! I'm very grateful to Emma Cervantes and Dr. Vijay Sah for encouraging me to undergo the Invisalign treatment. They followed up on the delivery of my aligners, and Emma was incredibly kind, making sure all my concerns were addressed. The whole experience was gentle and pain-free, and the staff was so friendly. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone considering cosmetic dentistry or orthodontics.
Very professional and provided excellent service. My experience at Sunnyvale Dental Care for dental implants was very smooth. Dr. Bhawna Gupta and Emma Cervantes were friendly and made me feel at ease. The clinic is clean and uses modern equipment. I would definitely recommend this place!
Where do I even start with my experience at this office? The communication and customer service were extremely frustrating from beginning to end. 1. They send automated text reminders, but when I did not confirm and I replied that I couldn’t make my appointment, it wasn’t actually canceled. I continued receiving reminder messages and there was no confirmation of cancellation. No one contacted me either. 2. I also received an automated voicemail asking if I could make the appointment. I responded that I could not, and the message said it couldn’t cancel the appointment but would notify the staff. No one ever followed up to cancel or reschedule. 3. If you’re an existing patient and call the office, you’re sent to voicemail. I left multiple messages in their automated voice message system but no one called back. Interestingly, when I select the option for a new patient, a live person answers most of the time. Existing patients shouldn’t have to jump through hoops just to speak with someone. 4. Appointment times don’t seem to mean much. I had a 4:00 p.m. appointment, arrived on time, and still waited a long time before being seen. Plan on spending much longer there than expected which is difficult for many busy routines. 5. One experience that really bothered me was hearing staff at the front desk discussing another patient’s dental condition and laughing about it. Whether or not names were mentioned, it felt unprofessional and made me uncomfortable about patient privacy and respect. 6. My biggest concern was the Invisalign treatment. We were quoted about $4,400 and were told Invisalign would correct my smile and bite, that elastics would be used if needed, and that treatment would take about two years. Instead, treatment ended much sooner than expected, without my agreement or approval, and I was left feeling that my concerns weren’t fully addressed. In my opinion, a thorough orthodontic consultation should honestly discuss all treatment options, including whether Invisalign is the best choice or whether another approach might produce better results. I never felt that conversation happened. 7. Throughout my visits, I felt there was significant pressure to sign the treatment contract quickly. The office has attractive amenities like desserts and prize wheels, but those don’t make up for the quality of care and communication. Overall, dealing with this office was time-consuming, stressful, and disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice and would encourage others to carefully consider their options before committing to treatment here. Please be aware of these issues before signing up here
The entire staff at Sunnyvale dental was amazing and helped my mother in an extreme emergency on a Friday night. The staff Emma and Kate were amazing and the receptionist Fee was amazing when we thought the online system made an appointment and they didn’t have us down. They still squeezed her in in a Friday night and were able to extract her tooth and get medications called in… Doctor Sah was amazing and stayed late on a Friday night to help my mother who was in a lot of pain.
Dr. Sah, Sarah and Hemali were wonderful and super friendly. They really took the time to listen to my issues during my teeth cleaning and cavity fillings. The front desk staff, including Maria and hemali, were also very helpful. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend Sunnyvale Dental Care.
