Developed an emergency periodontal abscess and after calling and explaining the symptoms they were was able to get me into their offices in less than 24 hours. I’m so grateful and I can’t say enough amazing and wonderful things about Dr. Orellana and her staff. They did such an amazing job during the surgery, preserving the molar and gum tissue. My surgery was performed at the Tampa facility and it is state of the art! The detailed imaging, equipment and even the homemade shake! Wow!!! So incredible. I also have to give a huge shout out to their administration. I had to work closely with Emily for an additional referral and she was so professional and amazing at her job and also cares so much for the patients! It was a lifesaver to find them and truly blessed to be able to have my periodontal care with their incredible support.

I couldn’t recommend Dr. Orellana more. She was above and beyond amazing. I actually went to Dr. Orellana for a second opinion, and ended up along my gum graft procedure with her instead. Anyone who knows anything about a gum graft, they are just plain and simple NOT fun. And I knew it wasn’t going to be. However, Dr. Orellana truly made it as less awful as possible— and dare I say, not actually too bad! She was AMAZING during my consult and truly explained why she recommended what she did and did so in a way I could understand. Immediately after the consult I knew I had to get it done with her. She was sooo detailed oriented and clearly incredibly knowledgeable at her craft. The day of she and her team made me as comfortable as possible. They even gave me a blanket and turned the lights off while the anesthesia kicked in!😭 when Dr. Orellana came in she explained EXACTLY what she was going to be doing and the order, etc. Though I was definitely groggy, I even remember her telling me when she was done the one side and going to the other, which I appreciated knowing so much. And she didn’t have to do so knowing I probably wouldn’t even remember!!! After my procedure Dr. Orellana insisted on giving me her phone number and texting her if I had any questions or concerns (it was over Christmas!!!!!). I texted her more times than I should have with questions and pictures!!! And she answered every single time with details answers and/instructions. She was ABOVE AND BEYOND AMAZING. My parents couldn’t believe I was sending pictures to my Dr. over Christmas break and she was responding! She truly went above and beyond and hands down the most detail oriented, professional, and skilled periodontist I’ve experienced. I’ll never get that kind of work done by anyone else. Even if I moved, I’d come back to Tampa just to make sure to get it done by her!!! lol

Five stars are not enough to describe my experience! Jill was like a fairy Godmother throughout my implant process, even going as far as checking on me after I relocated! Dr. Wilson, Nicole, Kaylie, and Olivia - everyone in the office for that matter! - made each visit as fun as possible, and I cannot thank them enough! Added bonus - they make the best smoothies :) 10/10 recommend!!

I took my 12 year old daughter to the office based on a recommendation from her Orthodontist. I have a firm belief that God bestows on some people a special gift. Oral surgery is Matthew Waite’s gift. He is patient, intelligent, efficient, experienced, confident and calm in his practice. It was a relief knowing that my daughter was in the very best hands for her oral surgery. Not very often do you have an oral surgeon who is also certified in anesthesia and well prepared along with his office staff to handle any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. The office is modern and spotless. The whole team has been a pleasure to work with and I would and will highly recommend the practice. Thank you to the entire practice for your dedication and care for my daughter.

Being new to the area and not knowing who to reach out to, I’m so glad I found Tampa Bay Periodontics. From the moment I walked in, the front reception staff made me feel welcome and at ease. Meeting with Jill, the patient care coordinator, thank you for explaining everything to me after the consult with such kindness and patience. A special shout out to Olivia, who was kind, thorough, and explained every step of the consult and to Sydney, who had to put up with me for three hours in the chair and did such a great job! When I met with Dr. Wilson he was outstanding — professional, gentle, and took the time to answer all my questions and make sure I understood my treatment plan. CARISSA is very personal yet professional and offered me moral support during my treatment. Great office staff with ALLY, BRITTANY, and SARAH.
