About Tampa Dentistry

Tampa Dentistry provides dental care on West Busch Boulevard in the Forest Hills area of Tampa, Florida. Affordable care means the practice sets out to make treatment accessible on a self-pay basis or through a payment arrangement, rather than assuming every patient arrives with comprehensive insurance. It is worth asking directly what options exist before assuming a needed treatment is out of reach.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost. Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Tampa Dentistry located in Tampa?
Tampa Dentistry is on West Busch Boulevard in the Forest Hills area of Tampa, Florida (33612).
What days is Tampa Dentistry open?
Tampa Dentistry is open Tuesday through Friday. Contact the practice through this page to confirm current appointment times before travelling.
What services does Tampa Dentistry offer?
Listed services at Tampa Dentistry include Affordable Dental Care. The full list is shown on this page.
Is it cheaper to treat a cavity early?
Almost always. A small cavity treated with a filling is a far smaller undertaking than the same tooth once decay has reached the nerve and needs root canal treatment and a crown. Cost tends to rise sharply the longer a problem is left.
What dental treatment is usually covered by insurance?
Preventive care such as examinations, cleanings, and X-rays is generally the best covered, with fillings and similar routine work covered at a lower rate. Purely cosmetic treatment, whitening included, is usually excluded because it is not medically necessary.
What causes bad breath and can a dentist help?
Persistent bad breath most often comes from bacteria on the tongue and around the gumline, and gum disease is a frequent underlying cause. Because it is usually oral in origin, a dental examination is a sensible first step.

Excellent service as always! Daymi always treats us like family. All the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The doctor also always makes us feel very comfortable and cares about our family. The new technology is super helpful for understanding the procedures we undergo.

I love this practice... Dr. Iglesias and staff are phenomenal. They are so nice! From the first visit up until now, I can only sing their praises. I will continue to be a patient. They make you as comfortable as you can be when you are getting dental work done and I am a big big scaredy 😺... BUT at Tampa Dentistry, I have not one single complaint. I 💜 TAMPA DENTISTRY 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I’m a new patient at Tampa Dentistry and I can honestly say that it was a great experience from beginning to end. As a new patient I was nervous and they made me feel at ease. Dr. Ramos was wonderful, he explained every detail of my care. plan and made me feel at ease with the work I need to get done.

Great local dentistry close to Seminole Heights. The staff is always warm and welcoming. Most importantly, they are always on time! I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes which is perfect for a quick cleaning appointment during the work day.

I needed to establish with a dentist in the area and so pleased that I found Tampa Dentistry! They got me in quickly! They were very attentive and helpful. Everyone in the office is wonderful. Daymi was gentle while cleaning my teeth but also thorough. Amanda, "The Watchdog", was incredibly helpful with explaining some options I had for teeth whitening and being patient with me regarding my difficulty with having x-rays done. She answered all of my many, many questions and never made me feel rushed. The office manager, Kiannie, is so incredibly sweet as well! Dr. Boe was wonderful! All of the staff are so caring! The office itself is very clean and well-maintained. Look no further! This should be your choice for your dental needs, you won't regret it!

Tiny outside, beautiful inside. This is a hidden gem! The dentist is super nice and his staff are wonderful. The office is clean and modern. The exam chairs have heat and massage options which was very relaxing. The rooms have Alexa so you can have whatever music you are comfortable with playing. I had to get 2 fillings and the doc didn't even have to numb me, which was fantastic. Was in and out and even got a cleaning without having to make another appointment. I have found our dentist.
