About Tampa Endodontics

Tampa Endodontics provides dental care on Cross Creek Boulevard in the County Line Coalition area of Tampa, Florida. Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the space, and allows the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted. Its reputation for being painful is largely outdated — carried out under local anaesthetic, it typically relieves pain rather than causing it.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. Frequently Asked Questions

What days is Tampa Endodontics open?
Tampa Endodontics is open Monday through Friday. Contact the practice through this page to confirm current appointment times before travelling.
What services does Tampa Endodontics offer?
Listed services at Tampa Endodontics include Root Canal Treatment. The full list is shown on this page.
What happens if I do not get a root canal?
The infection inside the tooth does not resolve by itself. It typically progresses to an abscess and can spread into surrounding bone, and the tooth is far more likely to be lost. Extraction becomes the alternative once the tooth cannot be saved.
How do I know if I need a root canal?
Common signs are lingering pain after something hot or cold, pain when biting down, a tooth that darkens, or a persistent pimple-like spot on the gum. Diagnosis needs an examination and usually an X-ray, since these can point to other problems too.
What happens during a routine dental examination?
The dentist checks the teeth for decay, examines the gums, looks at any existing fillings and crowns, and screens the soft tissues. X-rays are taken when there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth.

As the manager of a general dental practice, I recently had a patient who needed urgent endodontic treatment. I called Tampa Endodontists at the last minute, and their team went above and beyond to accommodate him the very same day. The patient was extremely happy with the experience, and the treatment was completed promptly and professionally. Their staff was courteous, efficient, and truly understood the importance of providing timely care. It’s rare to find a specialty office that is so responsive and patient-focused. Based on this experience, I will confidently be referring all of my patients who need endodontic treatment to this practice. Highly recommended!

Exceptional experience! The entire office was amazing, from the front desk to the doctor. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and professional from the moment I walked in. I have really bad anxiety when it comes to the dentist, but they made me feel completely at ease and truly cared about my comfort. This was the quickest and easiest root canal I’ve ever had. Dr. Hamad explained everything clearly and was incredibly patient with me, which I really appreciated. If you’re worried about the numbing, don’t be, I didn’t feel a thing! Highly recommend this office to anyone, especially if you get nervous about dental visits. I’m so grateful for their care and will definitely be coming back! Thank you Dr Hamad and Team!

I am so impressed with the dentist Dr.Hamad and his staff. They are so attentive and willing to do what it takes to help their patients feel better! He has top of the line technology like surgical grade air filters only seen in hospitals. It even filters out COVID! Ask about his GentleWave machine, I have not seen many specialists using this efficient method of doing root canals. Good work 👍🏼

Great experience—, fast, efficient, and very professional. The doctor was able to save my tooth thanks to the advanced technology they use; otherwise, extraction would have been the only option. They are newly opened, so there was no wait time at all. I can’t thank Dr. Hamad and his staff enough for their excellent care. Highly recommended.
