About Tempe Dental Care
Tempe Dental Care operates on South McClintock Drive in the Optimist Park SW area of Tempe, Arizona. Implants are considered by many dentists the most durable way to replace a missing tooth, since the titanium post fuses with the jaw bone over several months and then supports a crown that functions much like a natural tooth. Enough healthy bone is the main prerequisite, and a graft can build that up first if needed.
Clear aligners straighten teeth through a series of custom, removable trays, each worn for one to two weeks before moving to the next in the sequence. They suit mild to moderate crowding and spacing well, and are worn roughly twenty to twenty-two hours a day for treatment to stay on schedule.
A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.
Cosmetic dentistry covers treatment aimed primarily at appearance — whitening, veneers, bonding, and reshaping among the more common options — for patients who are less concerned with a problem that hurts than with how their smile looks day to day. The right combination depends on what specifically you would like to change.
A crown covers an entire damaged tooth — used when too much structure is missing for a filling to hold reliably, whether from a large fracture, extensive decay, or after root canal treatment. It restores both the shape and the biting strength of the tooth underneath.
Dentures replace some or all of the natural teeth in a jaw with a removable appliance, custom-fitted to the mouth. A full denture replaces every tooth; a partial fills gaps where some natural teeth remain. Because the jaw bone reshapes over time, dentures typically need adjusting or remaking periodically. 10/10 would go again
Great experience nice employees especially the orthodontist everything went smoove alittle pricey but worth the visit
For the first time in over 50 years a dental office actually listened to my concerns. For the last 10 years this was the first time a dental office treated me like a person rather than an ATM. No pressure to have expensive procedures, crowns or implants and the variety of charges that go with “a plan of care”. Dr Ward was exceptional. Listened, explained, developed a plan for my well being rather than cash flow. Compassionate care by everyone. I will need ongoing care, this is the first time I truly trusted a dentist.
This dental practice is really good from the front office staff to Dr. Ward. They explained every procedure and I knew my co-pay upfront. Dr Ward clearly explained everything and treatment was very gentle.
Very professional and knowledgeable. I’m glad I found this dental practice
I had broken my temporary crown and the office was closed the next day. I called and they got me in in 30 minutes. I was treated and fixed in 45 minutes. Then on my way! This group is compassionate, caring and professional. I am very pleased with the work I have received from them. Dr Ward is an excellent dentist and I have had several over the years. I would not hesitate to reccomend them to family and friends. Thank you all and keep up the great work!
I hate the dentist but this place is great. Jennifer was my assistant and she was nice, funny and attentive. Dr Kwon gave me a breakdown of what needed done and was super nice. I ended up needing a crown and they got a temporary one in same day. I am going on a trip soon and Jennifer gave me some bonding agent in case the worst happens and the temp falls out while on vacation. Reception was also super friendly and quick. I’m sure the rest of the staff is great, but I hope I get Jennifer and Dr Kwon for all of my visits.
I had a great experience at this dental office. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The dentist(Dr. Kwon) who treated me was highly skilled, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I really appreciated their warm and personable approach. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for excellent dental care.
They were very knowledgeable and quick with my questions. My dentist was thoughtful and considered my pregnancy when discussing my procedure. Overall have had no negative experiences since being an established patient for almost two years. Great place and super friendly people!
I felt so welcome and taken care of at my cleaning yesterday. I was long overdue, but they didn’t lecture me or make me feel bad about it. They were kind, professional, and knowledgeable. The cleaning itself was somewhat painful, but that’s to be expected when you wait a few years. My hygienist was the best part of my visit, she was incredibly smart and good at what she does. She was even able to chat with me about the latest research in dental care
