Always a better than expected experience. Kind front desk and staff too. Dr. Jen helped me with extracting a swollen tooth that kept me up for days in excruciating pain. I was expecting to have to get sent to another office but they were able to get the broken tooth out no problem. Big shout out to the assistant I forgot her name who helped calm me down too. They’re also going to fix my partial that broke so they pretty can do anything and I am so happy they are my dentists

My wife had to ask for the lead jacket right before they were about to take an X-ray. That alone should discourage anyone from coming here. We have constantly had communication problems with the front desk staff. They fail to tell you what they are thinking and mislead you. When you bring up a concern or a question, they never follow up with an explanation or clarifying question leading you to constantly feel like you have to force info out of them. This problem likely can be rectified through training. However, the close call with an unshielded X-ray is unforgivable. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

The office is always clean and welcoming, the front desk staff is super friendly, and I genuinely enjoy the music they play—it makes each visit that much more relaxing. But the real reason I keep coming back is Christina. She is absolutely fantastic—professional, gentle, and always takes great care of my teeth. You can tell she really cares about her patients. Located just down the street from Petco Park, this spot is super convenient if you live or work in downtown San Diego. Whether you need a routine checkup or something more urgent, they make it easy to get in, even with walk-ins or same-day appointments. I highly recommend Dental Express Downtown for anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, and professional dentist in downtown San Diego.
