The Dentist in Louisville

First time patient for check up and cleaning. My hygienist, Leah, was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. Dr. Barta was compassionate and reassuring about the state of my oral health. And they have modern technology. 07-31-2026: Second visit for cleaning. All around great experience.

Have been coming to Dr. Barta for over a year, and he is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He and his staff are so friendly, comforting and supportive. They have the best tech and knowledge, as well as great skill working with scared adults with bad dental history (me), and even young toddlers (my son). If you need a dentist for anyone in your family, this is definitely the place to come!

I’ve been a loyal patient at this practice for years, have my teeth cleaned four times a year, and have referred several friends and clients because I genuinely wanted to support the office. Unfortunately, my experience has become increasingly frustrating. No matter how far in advance I schedule, even three months out, my appointments almost always end up being rescheduled by the office. As someone who plans my calendar well in advance, it’s disappointing to have to repeatedly rearrange my schedule. I’ve also noticed an unusually high turnover among the hygienists. It seems like I’m seeing a different hygienist nearly every visit, which makes it difficult to build any consistency or rapport. I’m not sure why the practice has such difficulty retaining staff, but as a long-term patient, it certainly impacts the overall experience. The doctors and staff I’ve interacted with have always been kind and professional, which is why this is especially disappointing. I hope the practice can improve its scheduling reliability and staff retention because those two issues have significantly affected what was once a great patient experience.

The entire team was incredibly professional, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. The office has a really comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, which made the whole experience much easier than most dental visits. There’s a big difference between a place that does dentistry and a place that actually cares about the experience. This office is the second one. And having family in the dental field, I’ve seen what good (and bad) looks like. The hygienists are consistently great, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and genuinely gentle. The “soft touch” isn’t just something they say, you actually feel it. Everything is smooth, not rushed, and you leave feeling taken care of instead of worn out. The dentist is just as solid, easy to talk to, clearly knows their stuff, and treats you like a person, not a checklist. No pressure, no lectures, just real conversations and honest care. Front office is dialed in too. They take the time to walk through costs, scheduling, and all the details so you’re never left guessing. That alone sets them apart. And the office manager brings it all together — warm, welcoming, and someone you actually remember after you leave. That kind of energy makes a bigger difference than people realize. End of the day, it’s just a really well-run place with good people who take pride in what they do and it shows every visit.

I had a very pleasant experience from start to finish for my new patient exam! (As pleasant as a dentist visit can be….) Everyone was very gentle and kind. Jordan my hygienist was very thorough and answered all of my questions as did Dr. Bartha! I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Barta is stellar. He is professional, kind, and truly cares about his patients well-being. His team holds his high standards of care and concern for his patients and his office vibe is welcoming and comforting. Dr. Barta's dental work is phenomenal and he always makes sure I'm comfortable and that my experience is pain-free.
