Nicola and the team had an attention to detail I've rarely seen before. Nicola communicated with several other professionals so she could get the best result. Awesome.

Care for the planet informs every part of your experience at the natural smile. That’s as important to me as the evident attention to the most up-to-date and very best treatment for patients. I don’t think this is just a job for Nicola, it’s an art. She cares. She uses her instincts informed by her experience to imagine better ways to treat you as an individual. I trust her implicitly and my teeth and gums have never been healthier. There is no higher praise to give!

Sometimes you find a group of people who are truly exceptional at what they do. The Natural Smile Dental Practice in Bristol is just such a place and the talent within its walls ‘from the ground up’ is exceptional. ​​ ​​I turned up to their door just a few months ago with a mouthful of dental incompetency, augmented with governmental stupidity the likes of which, unfortunately, is still alive today. ​​ ​​’I know’ they must have once said from their cages in Whitehall where stupidity is still having a free lunch at our expense ‘let's fill young people’s teeth with a metal compound containing mercury, even if they have perfectly healthy teeth. You know, just in case they don't in the future and we can save a little money in the long run. After all free lunches aren't cheap! ​​ ​​So here I am many years later, finally free from a mouth full of neurotoxins and the shattering effects of micro expansion and layer upon layer of half backed dentistry. ​​ ​​God be praised, finally! This has truly been a life changing experience. If you have, even one of these filling, I would not hesitate to have them removed. If you have a whole trunk full like me and desire them all ‘to be gone’ but in a ‘healthy, safe, relatively pain free way then look no further than the lovely people at this remarkable clinic. ​​

I had my first visit to the natural smile dentist today and was so pleased with the whole experience. I was feeling slightly nervous after having bad experiences in the past but was made to feel completely at ease and understood. The receptionist was so lovely, the therapist Angela was great and Nicole was so calm and knowledgeable. They really acknowledge that your body and mouth are connected and do a lot of in-depth assessment before deciding on the best treatment plan. It was well worth driving from Devon for this visit, thank you!

The removal of all my amalgam fillings was undertaken in three visits to The Natural Smile Dental Practice, and I have been very impressed by the professionalism of all the staff that I have encountered. The practice obviously takes great pride in their work, and their skill and advice has left me with a much healthier gums and teeth. I cannot praise the service I received enough!!

Mei-An was an absolutely fabulous dentist. She always made me feel comfortable and safe in her hands. Treatments were carried out with care, precision and lasting impact on my health. We are sad to leave the practice, which we've had to do as we live too far away to make the trip anymore. Highly recommend The Natural Smile for effective, natural dental care.

Update to my original review from 2023. I no longer live in Bristol, but I regularly make the journey back to see Nicola and her team - I simply don't want any other dentist! Everything I said previously stands up to the test of time, as has her dental work. Nicola took time to help me properly understand what was going on inside my mouth - and how this connects to my wider health. Decisions on any work are always made following proper, measured discussion and explanation. Throughout, there is a genuine feeling of care and the "bigger picture" - in every chat we have when I am there, and the work that she and her team do. Thank you :) ------------------------ Like many other reviewers, I had experienced many other dentists over the years, from NHS to private. Only when I found Nicola and her team did I finally find the information, answers and care that I was looking for all that time. There is an obvious commitment to quality from the word go - time is taken to understand the patient and that is echoed by all the members of staff, who are all highly professional yet friendly and reassuring. Nicola is fantastic - she educates you about the process in a way that motivates you to take the best possible care of your teeth. There is a real feeling that natural/holistic methods and materials are promoted over and above cheaper or "easier" ways that are less in tune with your body. I would like to thank her and the team for everything they have done for me so far, and despite moving away I am committed to returning for all my future work. Well done!
