Ian and his colleagues at Southernhay Dental consistently deliver the kind of calm, kind and expert care that leaves you feeling completely reassured. Following a recent (complex and urgent) procedure, I wanted to add a review as a testament to Ian's calmness, kindness and clinical judgement. He went above and beyond what anyone could expect of their dentist and took control of a complex medical/dental situation. As a clinician myself I can honestly say that his skill and atttude is truly exceptional. Ian is simply a wonderful dentist — highly competent, wonderfully communicative and clearly dedicated to his patients' wellbeing. He is supported by a team that is always thoughtful, efficient and genuinely caring at every step. I've been a patient here for some years and have only ever received superb care. We feel immensely fortunate to be patients of Southernhay and cannot recommend the practice highly enough.

I have been a patient at this practice for many years now and have the pleasure of having Anna-Marie as my dentist. She immediately puts you at your ease and is so gentle and understanding. The receptionists are always helpful and friendly. Being a nervous patient, along with many others!, this surgery makes me attend regularly as do my grown up children now too! Where do I start ? The whole experience I have had in this practice has been fantastic. From making appointments, to being greeted by the reception staff and the dentists and their team I have felt truly valued and taken care of .I came to the practice a bit forlorn as my previous dental experience had left me in need of restorative treatment .My dentists Ian and Issy were very attentive, listened to my concerns and organised a series of appointments to suit my schedule and get me sorted . They have truly been the best practioners I have ever used . I can’t recommend this practice highly enough and have told anyone who will listen to get their teeth and oral health checked by them only ! . I’m one very satisfied patient .

I have used Southernhay Dental Practice for all of my families dental care for many years. From the receptionists to the dentists to the hygienists - all faultless. I'm about to move away from Devon but will continue to travel back for my dental care to Southernhay. Am delighted that Ian now has a succession plan as his daughter has joined the practice.
