About Tipton Park Dentistry

Tipton Park Dentistry is a dental practice on Plaza Drive in Columbus, Indiana. A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root, not just the crown — a small titanium post is placed in the jaw bone and, once it has integrated over a period of months, a replacement tooth is attached to it. It is generally the most durable option for a single missing tooth or several.

Clear aligners straighten teeth through a series of custom, removable trays, each worn for one to two weeks before moving to the next in the sequence. They suit mild to moderate crowding and spacing well, and are worn roughly twenty to twenty-two hours a day for treatment to stay on schedule.

A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.

Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the space, and allows the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted. Its reputation for being painful is largely outdated — carried out under local anaesthetic, it typically relieves pain rather than causing it.

Wisdom teeth are removed when they are impacted, repeatedly infected, decayed, or damaging the tooth in front, since they arrive last and often into a jaw with no room left. Not every wisdom tooth needs to come out — one that erupts cleanly and can be kept clean is often left alone.

A crown covers an entire damaged tooth — used when too much structure is missing for a filling to hold reliably, whether from a large fracture, extensive decay, or after root canal treatment. It restores both the shape and the biting strength of the tooth underneath. I have been under Dr. Clock's care and expertise for a number of years; and I have always come out with excellent results. He always comes up with a great solution to whatever problem I have. I just had a crown fall off with part of my tooth inside and he removed the rest of my tooth, put in bone graft and an implant and stitches. He is an excellent dentist with extensive skills. His staff is amazing and always friendly, kind, and helpful. Thank you!

I love going to this dentist office! Both Dr. Clock and Dr. Burkett are amazing… they are caring, listen to concerns, are gentle while cleaning your teeth and with any issues you have. In my own experience in having to schedule an emergency appointment, they handled it easily and quickly… their whole staff is extremely friendly. I love that they send out emails with any available opening they have in case you are a person who sometimes forgets to schedule their 6 month check up! Their location is easy to get to and when you walk into the office, it is very warm, inviting, and has a cozy feeling. (Not like other Dr offices). I highly recommend Tipton Park Dentistry with Dr. Clock and Dr. Burkett!

I lived in Columbus for several years and ended up at Tipton park Dentistry… Almost all of the work I had done there has had to be redone by my current dentist. Just now I had a filling redone that was loose… it wasn’t even bonded to the tooth. I know one of the dentists I had while at Tipton park moved and is no longer there - hopefully they have replaced him with someone who does better work.

While my husband and I have been using Tipton Park Dentistry for several years, this year was the first time I moved our two children 2 & 5 years old) from a Pediatric Dentist to Tipton after two not-so-great appointments at their previous dentist office. It was a total 180 from our experience at our previous pediatric dentist office. At Tipton Park, both the hygienist and dentist were patient and kind, especially with my 2 year old who is not the biggest fan of the dentist and he did so great in this new environment. Highly recommend for the whole family.
