It was such a pleasure to be assisted by Tammy Shaw. A good day at the Dentist is when you have a Dental Hygienist that makes you feel easy while your teeth are being cleaned. She has a conversation with you, and discuss any concerns while working. Not to mention that Tammy can also make you laugh! Oh, and Go Bills Tammy!!
I had tetracycline stained teeth as a kid. Stained from antibiotics. I was teased and cried constantly. My parents had my teeth crowned by the time I was 17 the first 6 and then 2 additional. Now I am approaching 60 and the original crowns are falling out. I needed 3 in the back left upper. I have had the pleasure of being part of the residency program for years. From Dr. Jared Shatkin, Dr. Royce and now, Dr. Lola. Dr. Lola is wonderful and incredibly gifted. She asked for a consultation from 2 attending dentists before her course of treatment. I also saw Dr. Shatkin senior, about a concern she had with an implant. Dr. Shatkin actually reduced the estimated bill significantly. When the first set came back from the lab, Dr. Lola, my resident doctor did not like the fit and sent back a new set of impressions. The teeth that came back yesterday are beautiful and fit like a dream. I also had a concern with a front tooth « shifting inwards » Dr. Jared Shatkin realized it was a problem with my bite and shaved the tooth down a bit. Now, I am not forcing my words. The cohesiveness that Shatkin Dental has is second to no one, period! This includes the dental assistants. Mine were Marissa and Brianna. If you have questions about price, just ask Dr. Shatkin Sr. He is a kind and professional man. I love my teeth and smile !
