I came here for an emergency root canal in 2023, and from the start everything felt rushed. After my crown fitting with Dr. Zwiebel, I was told (by her) I needed three additional root canals. That immediately raised red flags, so I sought a second opinion. The prosthodontist confirmed there was no need for any additional root canals and even pointed out that the crown I received here was poorly fitted. Fast forward to today, and I’ve been dealing with intermittent pain in that same tooth. I was recently told by a prosthodontist AND a periodontist that there’s an infection at the root due to multiple possibilities (i.e poorly fitted crown trapped food and bacteria, infection in canal wasn’t throughly cleaned, and/or a dental instrument fractured and was left inside the canal during the procedure) Not only did I waste the money I spent here, but I’m now facing a substantial bill to have the tooth retreated and repaired properly. Based on my experience, I CANNOT recommend this practice. Also, trying to get someone from billing to talk to you is near impossible

I came in November 2025 specifically because I was having pain in my lower right molar. I told Dr. Han directly. No percussion test. No cold test. No probing. He did nothing other than tell me I hold stress in my jaw and sent me on my way. To make it worse, my complaint was charted under the wrong tooth — a tooth on the completely opposite side of my mouth. Months later, still in pain, another dentist took one look and found a vertical fracture and active infection in the exact tooth I had originally come in about. I've since had a root canal and now need a full implant — nearly $10,000 in treatment that could have been caught or managed sooner. I contacted the office four times to try to resolve this. Every attempt was either ignored or dismissed. I strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Do not recommend. I've been going to TDD for over 10 years because the staff are professional, the service from the dentist and hygienists were great and it was close to work. However, my dentist has changed twice recently and the hygienist was very uncomfortable. With the delayed start due to machine/system issues I was left waiting with a heavy apron (?) for the x-ray. During the cleaning, the hygienist leaned over the chair/bed so much that she was touching/pushing me and still insisted that I tilt my head toward her. For someone who has neck/spine issues, this was not comfortable at all and I've never been asked to do this previously. Then she asks if I don't want to be there (of course not). I left the place after spitting blood out (also a first) from the cleaning and will not be returning again.

Avoid this place. Had appointment cancelled for being a few minutes late. Never mind spending $40 for a cab stuck in traffic to get there. They refused to accommodate me same day. That's never happened to any dentist I've been to. On my previous visit there was no hygienist, which is probably why they don't accommodate anyone who's late. A cold colorless dentist cleaned my teeth. Nothing like an unpleasant dentist for an experience not pleasant to begin with

Dr. Han is amazing! He’s thorough, fast, and provides a lot of comfort. He removed staining that no other dentist has been able to do before—highly recommend!!!

Dr. Han and staff are simply amazing. Warm, welcoming, and caring. I have had a few issues recently and needed to make a couple of trips, each problem was assessed and address and I walked out of the office with a big beautiful smile. I travel to get to this office and will continue to as long as Dr. Han and staff are in service.

Really happy with my visit! The hygienist did such a thorough cleaning, the doctor was attentive, and the whole team was friendly and welcoming. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Dr. Han and his team are by far the best dentist office I've been there. I've had an extremely positive experience every time I've gone there and would say he's best at making sure you have as little pain as possible. They are kind, patient, and very thorough with everything. They are very clear and upfront about cost when you ask. I've recommended a few people to this office and they all have the same feelings as I do. Definitely the best cleaning I've ever had in my 31 years of going to the dentist. I got a root canal at a different dentist in Brooklyn and had the worst experience ever and swore I'd never do it again. Decided to take another swing with Dr. Han and truly had hardly any pain (3/10 pain scale just based on the procedure itself). All that to say, I'd book Dr. Han and his team in a heartbeat! Keep up the great work!

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled after my experience with Tribical Dental in NYC. Unfortunately, my visit was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The staff seemed disorganized and rushed, and I never felt like my concerns were actually being listened to. The dentist spent very little time with me, gave vague answers to my questions, and seemed more focused on upselling unnecessary procedures than providing real care.
