About Tucson Biological Dentistry

On North Tucson Boulevard in central Tucson, Tucson Biological Dentistry distinguishes itself through a holistic, biological approach to dental care. Beyond the standard general dentistry, fillings, treatment for tooth decay, and routine upkeep, the practice frames its work around the biological philosophy named directly in its services, which appeals to patients who want their dental treatment to align with a more whole-body outlook.

The restorative offerings are practical and grounded. The team places dental implants, builds crowns and bridges, and treats gum disease to protect the tissues that hold teeth in place. These services let the office address both missing teeth and the health of the surrounding mouth, so patients are not limited to surface fixes. Emergency dentistry is part of the practice as well, giving people a place to turn when a tooth cracks or pain arrives suddenly.

Cosmetic care has a clear place here too. Teeth whitening brightens stained or dulled teeth, veneers reshape and refine the front of a smile, and broader cosmetic dentistry ties those choices into a plan that fits the patient's goals. Affordable dental care appears among the listed services, opening a door for patients who want to weigh cost as part of their decisions.

Because pediatric dentistry is included, the practice can serve children alongside adults, which makes it a workable option for families who specifically want a biologically minded office for everyone in the household. It suits patients seeking holistic care, those needing implants or gum treatment, and anyone wanting cosmetic work from a practice whose philosophy matches their own. For Tucson residents near Tucson Boulevard looking for a thoughtful, holistic alternative to a conventional dental office, Tucson Biological Dentistry offers a distinctive blend of everyday, restorative, and cosmetic services under one philosophy. For patients drawn to its philosophy, the practice pairs that biological outlook with practical capability, handling implants, crowns and bridges, and gum disease treatment for adults while keeping pediatric care available, so a family committed to a holistic approach can keep everyone in the same office on Tucson Boulevard.

Tucson Biological Dentistry on North Tucson Boulevard takes a holistic, biological approach to everyday and restorative care, fillings, implants, crowns and bridges, and gum disease treatment, with whitening and veneers for cosmetic needs. Pediatric care and emergency dentistry make it a fit for families drawn to a more biologically minded practice.

Krizman Dental is a wonderful office with great staff. I have never had a problem and I would never allow anyone else to care for my terrible teeth. She is the best. Unfortunately, my husband has stage 4 cancer and I have had to cancel a few appts due to his health taking priority. I messed up and missed a cancellation causing me to cancel a few hours prior. $250 fee. So know this and don’t forget to cancel. That fee hits at a bad time in my life.

10/10!!! Tongue-tie release on 12-year-old boy. Dr. Krizman and her entire office staff are so helpful, friendly, and professional. I have consulted with several different dentists, in Utah and in Arizona, and researched tongue-tie releases for months. I was willing to travel to find the best for my child. Imagine my delight when I discovered one of the the best dentists and myofunctional therapists (one that Dr. Krizman recommended: Pillar Speech Therapy, Misty Elsby) are both located in Tucson (and Oro Valley), AZ, where I live! I didn't have to travel to Phoenix or Salt Lake City, etc. Dr. Krizman is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and trained by the best tongue-tie experts in America. Dr. Krizman has researched and invested in the best LASAR technology for tongue-tie releases, and she knows how to use it! She has a very skilled hand due to her training and experience. Dr. Krizman is cheerful, friendly, humble, kind, and knows exactly how to put nervous children and parents at ease during the entire procedure. She happily takes time to answer everyone's questions. She has performed tongue-tie releases on infants, children of all ages, as well as on adults. The last several months have been stressful for our family, since finding out about our son's tongue-tie, but Dr. Krizman and Misty Elsby have been a dynamic duo! And my son is so happy to have had it done! The first words out of his mouth after the procedure were: "My tongue is FREE!!! IT CAN MOVE and touch the top of my mouth!!!" The main deciding factor we decided to get it done is so that hopefully he won't keep getting so many cavities in his back molars, and hopefully his speech will improve, and hopefully he will have better speaking endurance (won't get so tired from talking so much) while reading books out loud to his children when he grows up, like his dad reads to him. He has had to work so hard to talk, he really struggles with it. So far we are SO happy with everything!!!

She did a great job on my daughter’s tie surgery, but I just felt super rushed while there, like I couldn’t ask everything that I wanted because she needed to be somewhere else. Also my mom only speaks Spanish and they were rude to her in the hallway while she was trying to tell me that my baby was ready and I was in the bathroom.

What an amazing find! I do not like getting my teeth cleaned or having people in my mouth. The staff at Tucson biological dentistry was absolutely fabulous. They made the experience extremely pleasant and relaxing. Nina and Sasha were absolutely amazing. Dr. Krizman gave me the most thorough exam I have ever had. I’ve never had an exam like that before. Extremely thorough. Touching on a number of different areas with regards to oral and body health. I highly recommend. They offer a number of anti-anxiety aids. I got lavender oil and vibrating wristbands, along with classical music. It was the most relaxing dental experience I’ve ever had.

I just recently became a new patient at Tucson Biological Dentistry and could not be happier. From my first contact with Nichole for getting set up to Melissa who greets and processes all the patients in and out of their appointments to Dr. Krizman everyone has been 5 star. I thought my last biological dentist and staff were great but this office truly takes dentistry to the next level. Worth every penny.

I never dreamed I’d write a rave review of a dentist but Dr Krizman is unlike any other. Recently I had an abscessed tooth removed. While she offer’s everything from CBD under your tongue to Netflix for relaxation I went the old fashioned route. She drew blood to harvest my white blood cells in order to use them afterwards to promote healing. Not only does she use cutting edge technology but her hands work seamlessly in your mouth. The office is lovely too. Check out the art!

Dr.Krizman is the greatest dentist I have ever met. She just did two extractions for me and I had no pain. She actually cares about every aspect of her work including her patients. She explains everything she does to you including what to expect during and after the procedure. Her office staff are the best! They are totally trained beyond what I have seen in other offices and they are so sweet and loving just like Dr. Krizman. I thank you all for taking such fantastic care of me.
