Great experience at Turlock Dental Care! The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. The office was clean, and the dentist took the time to explain everything clearly. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent dental care.

This may be a long review, but I wanted to share my experience because I know I’m not the only one who’s terrified of dental work. Growing up, I saw the same dentist for years. About two years ago, after moving to San Diego, I needed four fillings. They only completed one side of my mouth before I decided not to go back. One tooth was drilled down so much that it constantly hurt and felt like there was a huge gash missing. It never felt normal again, and that experience left me with a lot of anxiety about seeing another dentist. Walking into this office, I was genuinely scared that I would leave in pain or that my teeth would end up feeling worse. Instead, I had the complete opposite experience. Dr. B and the woman who carefully shaped and polished my fillings took their time to make sure everything felt right, especially my bite. They didn’t rush, and they made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. I have the normal sensitivity you’d expect after getting fillings, but other than that, I’m amazed. The tooth that had felt like it had a “gash” for the past two years finally feels normal again. My teeth feel comfortable, natural, and honestly just… right. I’m incredibly grateful for the care I received here. This experience restored my trust in going to the dentist, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you for making what I thought would be a terrifying appointment such a positive one.

The absolute best dental team out there! I have always had major dental anxiety, but this practice makes you feel like you are getting a five-star spa treatment instead of a dental procedure. The entire staff—from the warm front desk and office team to the fantastic hygienists, technicians, and the Dentist—showed genuine care and compassion. They put me entirely at ease, kept me comfortable, and gave me all the tools and knowledge needed for excellent at-home care. I’m actually looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommend!

The facility is absolutely top-notch and has such a relaxing atmosphere that every visit feels more like an experience than a typical dental appointment. I recently started SureSmile treatment, and I really appreciated the flexible payment options they offered, which made the process much more manageable. Dr. McCulla is exceptional—knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. The other doctors in the office are equally impressive, and it’s clear that patient care is a top priority for everyone here. I had a great experience at this dental office. The environment is welcoming, and the staff are both professional and friendly. Everything is very clean, and the appointments are handled quickly and efficiently. I have been a patient of Dr. McCulla’s for over 30 years. I always receive superior care and service. Yesterday, I received a new crown ~ Dr. McCulla and Lead Dental Assistant Juanita Torrez made me feel welcomed and safe.

I had to get an old filling replaced today. It's been over a decade since i've needed any work done on my teeth. So I was super anxious going in. I can watch pretty much any medical / dental procedure without getting nervous as long as its for someone else. But knowing that I was going to get a needle in my mouth made me feel shaky and tense. The dentist reviewed the procedure with me in detail and talked about potential risks. Even though I didn't want to hear about all the things that could go wrong, I was appreciative that he did his due diligence. I asked for headphones and listened music so I couldn't hear the drilling. The numbing needle wasn't painful, just like 3 seconds of pressure. The dentist also waited until I was fully numb, which I also really appreciated. I absolutely hate getting my teeth worked on, but if I have to get work done, this was an ok experience. Update - Its been a little over two weeks and my tooth / filling is very sensitive and uncomfortable. I think i have to go back in and have it checked out. : - /

Started going to Turlock Dental Care a few years ago. Staff are always friendly and I have liked all of the dental hygienists and the two dentists I have seen. I have a medical condition that sometimes causes vertigo with certain head movements and they are always so accommodating (getting me a pillow, checking on me during procedures, etc). I have had several crowns replaced and I love that they make them right then and I don't need to get a temporary and come back later.
