About Twenty First Century Dental - Yonkers Location

Twelve Warburton Avenue has held the same dental practice since 1992, on the road that traces the slope above the Hudson through Yonkers' Getty Square. It began as 21st Century Dental and Oral Surgery Associates under Dr. William Limongelli, and that founding combination still describes the work: a general and cosmetic practice that also performs its own surgery, rather than a general office referring every difficult extraction out to someone else.

Impacted wisdom teeth are a good illustration of what that combination means day to day. When a third molar never fully erupts, it sits angled under gum and bone, trapping plaque against the molar in front and slowly damaging a tooth that was otherwise healthy. Removing it is a surgical procedure involving a gum flap, a little bone removal and sectioning of the tooth, and having it done in the office that already holds your records and radiographs saves an entire referral cycle. The same in-house surgical capacity supports implant cases, so extraction, healing, fixture placement and the crown that finishes the job can be sequenced by one team working from one plan.

The restorative and cosmetic side covers full-mouth rehabilitation, permanent crowns and bridges, porcelain laminate veneers, dentures and partials, root canals, whitening, and Snap-On Smile, a removable clip-over shell that changes the look of an arch without preparing any teeth. It is useful as a preview or a stopgap, though not a substitute for fixed work. TMJ treatment is offered for jaw joint pain and the grinding that often travels with it. Digital X-rays, intraoral cameras and computerized crown fabrication are the technology on hand.

The schedule is the unusual part and may well be the deciding factor. The office opens late morning and runs into the evening on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and it also opens on Sunday, which is genuinely rare in Westchester dentistry if weekdays are impossible for you. There is no early-morning slot and no Saturday clinic. On implants, remember that placement and the final crown are separate stages months apart, so read any quote as a sequence rather than a single figure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this practice really open on Sundays?
Yes. The Warburton Avenue office runs a Sunday session alongside Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, all with a late-morning start rather than an early one. Weekend availability is uncommon in Westchester dentistry, so it is worth knowing about if weekdays are genuinely impossible for you. There is no Saturday clinic and no early-morning appointment, so plan around the mid-morning to evening window instead.
What is a Snap-On Smile and when is it appropriate?
It is a thin removable shell that clips over your existing teeth to change their appearance without any drilling or preparation. It suits someone who wants to preview a cosmetic change, cannot yet commit to fixed work, or needs a temporary appearance fix while a longer treatment plan runs its course. It is not a substitute for veneers, crowns or implants, and it does nothing about decay or gum disease underneath.
Can wisdom teeth be removed at the same office that does my general dentistry?
Here, yes. The practice was founded as a combined dental and oral surgery group, so impacted third molar removal is handled in-house rather than referred out. The advantage is continuity, since the office already holds your radiographs, medical history and restorative plan. Ask what type of anesthesia is planned, how many teeth are being removed in one sitting, and how much recovery time to allow afterwards.

The worst customer service ever 😵 You call them and if you speak Spanish they hang up on you and are quite rude and speak very badly to the customer on the phone 📞 Doc, please review your staff; they are people who talk, not animals, and even animals deserve good service 😒😵‍💫 July 29, 2026

ATTN: Management! (if there is any!) Very nasty and rude people works here! They have to work on communication skill! As soon as you ask something over the phone they start barking and telling they can’t email nothing or share information and phone hangs up on you! It’s 2026 and you don’t have scanner and email address in your office? You might as well accept only paper applications by USPS. If anyone wants to ruin their beautiful day with nasty front desk members, please give them a chance. They are doing great with it!!!!

The office at 21st Century Dental may have a classic, no-frills feel to it think charm over flash but don’t let that fool you for a second. What happens in that chair is nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Limongelli is a true master of his craft. The quality and precision of his work speak for themselves, and you leave every visit with full confidence that you’ve been in expert hands. Felix the hygienist is equally impressive thorough, skilled, and genuinely great at making you feel at ease throughout the visit. And then there’s Michelle at the front desk, who sets the tone the moment you walk in. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful she makes the whole experience feel personal rather than transactional. The entire team strikes that rare balance of being both friendly and deeply professional. In a world where so many practices prioritize aesthetics over substance, 21st Century Dental is a refreshing reminder that what truly matters is the skill, care, and attention you receive. Highly recommend.

I recommend this place! Ms. Michelle, Mr. Felix, and Dr. Willams were friendly and amazing. I got my tooth X-rayed, cleaned, and filled my cavities. Very clean and thorough. When I was confused, Mr. Felix explained it very clearly. The environment is warm and welcoming. Thank you so much, see you in six months 🥰
