The people at check-in are rude! They act like I am bothering them!

If you are trans, please avoid the Transform Health clinic and Mara Arterburn. I live with multiple chronic conditions had my concerns ignored in favor of many, many uncomfortable and unnecessary questions about my (completed) gender transition, accompanied by many uncomfortable jokes about trans people that would be unacceptable at a bar, let alone a clinic. I have been on testosterone for six years, yet the appointment seemed geared towards newly transitioning patients with no room for accommodation. I entrusted her with overseeing a corticosteroid where missing a dose landed me in the ER, and after clarifying multiple times during the appointment that she would be able to take care of it, when the time came her team refused to fill it, which nearly led to an emergency if it wasn't for my other doctors stepping in. I had a lab result return with a female reference range, and the provider claimed she was aware of the lab's tendency to mislabel patients, and just pointed me to some paperwork and phone numbers. I am shocked and appalled the clinic is VERY aware of this issue, yet doesn't inform their patients. I have already had an outside clinic change my administrative sex to female after reviewing the labs, which, considering my long history with testosterone, is not only unacceptable but medically inappropriate. Mara Arterburn's treatment of her trans patients is insanely inappropriate and has only led to continued problems even months out from our appointment together. At Baptist Health I was treated with much more dignity, and my chronic conditions were rightfully treated with more weight than my gender identity.

Absolutely disgusting and greedy to force patients to pay a fee for the facility. I understand drs need to be comped for their time, but to force a fee at the time of treatment and to force a fee weeks later is completely greedy. Your facility looks awful anyways.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. The nurses are rude and demanding, no one listens or actually cares, no one communicates. They make changes to your chart and medications without your knowledge. It's truly scary the lack of care and how this place operates. You'd be better off just not going at all rather than here because at least then there wouldn't be false medical information in your chart, you wouldn't have to be passed around by rude, demeaning nurses who don't care about your well being or health at all, you'd wouldn't have to worry about going with out your medications, you wouldn't have to worry about not being listened to and ignored, you wouldn't have to be scared and uncomfortable that your health care is jeopardized by inexperienced rude people with. Saw them for an issue for years which they blatantly neglected and when I went to a different dr they immediately said I needed surfer bc it turns out it was cancerous and the doctor just ignored everything I said every appointments for 4 years. They don't listen, they make assumptions, they put false information in your chart, they will not listen to you, they ignore test results, won't follow up, generalize concerning medical info, ignore your concerns, ignore your symptoms, the list goes on. Going here is not only pointless and a waste of time is so frustrating and run by a bunch of inexperienced, immoral, egotistical doctors and nurses that cannot be bothered.

Connie at check in is fabulous. She is so nice and checked in on us and our kids as we were leaving. Such a pleasant experience from start to finish.

First time going there, they said a whole bunch of crazy stuff, then said we're gonna send you some paperwork in the mail to fill out. So you have to send it back. I never got the paper in the mail. So I got referred there again well, I drove 4 hours away, wasted $80 in gas due to inflation and put wear and tear on my car. Just so it turns out there was a car wreck in front of their building (i can't help that there was a car crash) and I was 5 minutes late due to the car crash, their policy says that they're supposed to not refuse no one that comes in no later than 15 minutes late, but I got to the front desk on the 2nd floor at 11.05am and my daughter apartment was at 11am and they refused my handicap, nonverbal daughter that has seizures, that's 19 months old. If you are reading this looking to see if it's a good place to take your kid your best option is just going to Cincinnati to the children's hospital at this point because they will not see you and they do not care about children's with special needs.

I went to this UK clinic today and had a great experience! They said the wait would be over an hour, but we got called back less than 10 minutes of waiting. The nicest lady came in and checked my vitals and was incredibly calming and reassuring. I mean the best I’ve ever received in the doctors! I have anxiety and she said “We are here to help you, and if we can’t we have friends who can!” I mean just 10/10!! The Dr was amazing she was straight to the point without any feelings of being rushed or ignored. I will 100% be coming here from now on! I was out in less than an hour including the time I waited at the pharmacy! Also the building was very clean and inviting!
