This review is only for the front office staff. I made a dental appointment online and confirmed the appointment via phone. They sent me forms to complete online which I included my insurance information. I called my insurance provider multiple times to ensure that the service was covered and that it was in network. They informed me that it was. On the day of my appointment, as I am checking out, the front desk lady tells me my total. I informed her that I would be using my insurance. She tells me in the nastiest tone that I needed to tell her that I was using my insurance when I made the appointment. I explained to her that I made my appointment online and that I included my insurance information on the forms they asked me to fill out. She told me that they don't look at those forms. So why are you asking me to fill them out? Why wouldn't you ask me before the service how I would be paying if that was going to be an issue? I had no idea. Her attitude was DISGUSTING. I would NEVER recommend this office simply on the HORRIBLE customer service from her. She ended up taking a copy of my insurance cards and said she would honor it this time (as if she was doing me a favor- she should have done that in the first place). Actually, they already had the insurance information because I had already given it. It's not my responsibility to know what this office does with forms they ask me to fill out. After months, I realized no claimed had been filed. I went back and asked the same lady did they receive anything from the insurance company. Once again, NASTY ATTITUDE. She tells me they filed the claim with my insurance. I made a quick call to my insurance company and they informed me that no file had been claimed. They asked me to verify with the dental office that they had the correct member id number. They also provided me with a payment id number for the file to be claimed directly. I go back into the office to verify that they had the correct member id and they did. I explained to the same lady that they didn't receive it. She once again gave me the nastiest attitude and tell me "We've already sent it multiple times". I asked her if she could use the payment id number to file the claim because that's what the insurance rep gave me. She then realizes that they used the wrong payment ID number. I understand mistakes happen BUT with the HORRIBLE SERVICE AND NEGATIVE ATTITUDE I received, it's inexcusable. She didn't apologize for her mistake. I decided to cancel my upcoming appointment and suggest that she receives proper training and better customer service skills. Honestly she deserves to be FIRED. No customer should ever experience what I experienced and I truly hope she receives some guidance from upper management. I would NEVER recommend this office. UPDATE: I received a phone call from the front office staff after placing this review. She informed me that the claim was filed. I informed her that while I appreciate the call, her service was very poor and it was very unprofessional. She expressed to me that the insurance company provided the wrong number for the claim. I then contacted the insurance company and they expressed that it was highly unlikely that it was their fault. I strongly believe this office does not want to take accountability. The main concern is the unprofessionalism and terrible customer service. I truly hope that they improve moving forward.

Been coming to Ultra Smile for years and moved away recently. Popped back in for a cleaning today and Diana was excellent. She did a great job caring for my teeth but also a tremendous job educating me on my overall health!! A really great experience!

Impeccable staff and experience today at the clinic as a first timer! Being someone who dreads a dentist visit, I was referred by a friend, and felt super at ease from start to end. Everything was explained to me throughly before hand, and bed side manner was top notch. It’s not easy finding a dentist you can trust and feel comfortable with, but safe to say I have found that and more with the team at ultra smile. Thank you ladies for your patience and care!

Edit: I appreciate Dr Bahmadi's reply, at the end of the day I can only share my experience. I very rarely complain about services and have historically been very trusting of doctors. The root canal was performed at the UltraSmile downtown location, which this office referred me to. I chose this practice because of their 5-star reviews, but over multiple visits I started to feel extremely uncomfortable with their recommendations. I felt repeatedly pressured into accepting expensive and risky procedures. They placed a partial onlay that broke after about a year. The dentist repeatedly recommended shaving the tooth down for a full crown, even before removing the onlay to assess the situation. It's only after I pushed back that they agreed to remove the onlay first, at which point they realized there was enough tooth left and placed another partial. The straw that broke the camel's back was when, during a routine cleaning, I was told a root canal they had done was infected and the ONLY option was extraction and an implant ($10k+). The dentist made the situation sound extremely urgent and alarming, and I felt very distraught. I want to be clear about this: the dentist made it seem like the only option I had was to extract the tooth as soon as possible, and told me that I would be in a lot of pain if I didn't do it right away. They immediately booked me for an extraction appointment in 2 weeks and walked me through the extremely expensive implant plan. I got second opinions from two other dentists, who told me I needed to see an endodontist for an accurate assessment. I have since then seen a highly reputable endodontist, who told me a redo of the root canal is certainly still a viable option before removing the tooth entirely. These were the most unpleasant experiences, but there were also instances of billing errors where I was asked to pay again for charges I had already paid. Overall, I have not felt comfortable with the recommendations from this office and have not felt like they had my best interest at heart, and would recommend anyone visiting them to be vigilant.

I had such a great experience at Ultra Smile Dental Spa! The office is beautiful, clean, and very welcoming. Gaby was amazing — so gentle, patient, and thorough. She made me feel completely comfortable the entire time and explained everything clearly. You can tell she truly cares about her patients. Highly recommend!
