About Universal Dental Center

Three dentists share the chairs at Universal Dental Center on Dequindre Road, and the mix is deliberate. Dr. Ronald S. Goodman concentrates on implants and cosmetic work, while Dr. Kanika Singh and Dr. Brianna Bletch carry the general and restorative caseload, with Dr. Singh describing her approach as patient-centered care rooted in empathy, clinical excellence and integrity. Having several providers on a rota is what makes the opening hours possible: chairs are working from a quarter to seven on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, into the evening on Monday, and through Saturday lunchtime.

Before committing to implant treatment, it helps to know what determines the price you are quoted, because the figure varies more than most dental procedures. Three things drive it. First, how many posts are needed and whether they carry individual crowns or a shared bridge. Second, the state of the bone, since a thin or resorbed ridge may require grafting or a sinus lift before anything can be placed. Third, what the final restoration is made from. An implant-supported denture that clips onto two posts costs a fraction of a fixed full arch, and for many patients it delivers most of the practical benefit: the plate stops moving, biting force returns, and the palate can often be opened up. It is a legitimate option rather than a compromise, and worth asking about explicitly.

The practice also handles Invisalign, veneers, full mouth reconstruction, preventive care, night guards, sealants and snoring appliances. Root canal treatment and emergency visits are covered in-house.

Universal Dental Center belongs to the Orahh Care dental community and notes selection by AARP for its commitment to accessible, comprehensive care. Most insurance is accepted, including Medicare Advantage, which is not universal among Warren practices and matters if you are on a Medicare plan and pricing out dentures or implants. The Dequindre address sits on the Macomb and Oakland county line, making it as convenient from Madison Heights and Hazel Park as from Warren itself. If you need Friday afternoon or Sunday availability, look elsewhere; the office closes at three on Friday.

A multi-dentist Warren practice on Dequindre Road at the Macomb and Oakland county line, where Dr. Ronald S. Goodman leads implant and cosmetic treatment alongside Dr. Kanika Singh and Dr. Brianna Bletch on general and restorative care. Services span implants and implant-supported dentures, Invisalign, veneers, full mouth reconstruction, root canals and preventive care. Very early starts on Tuesday and Wednesday, an evening block on Monday, and Saturday mornings. Most insurance accepted, including Medicare Advantage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which dentist would handle my implant case here?
Dr. Ronald S. Goodman focuses on implant and cosmetic treatment, so surgical planning generally sits with him, while Dr. Kanika Singh and Dr. Brianna Bletch cover general and restorative care. In practice that means your consultation, the placement appointment and the routine hygiene visits may involve different providers working from shared records. If you would prefer to see one dentist throughout, say so when booking so the schedule can be arranged that way.
Is an implant-supported denture cheaper than a full set of implants?
Considerably. A conventional full arch of individual implants needs multiple posts and multiple crowns. An implant-supported denture clips onto as few as two posts and lifts out for cleaning, so the surgical and laboratory costs both drop. What you gain is stability, retained biting force and, in many designs, an open palate. What you give up is the feel of fixed teeth, since the appliance still comes out at night.
Does the practice accept Medicare Advantage?
Yes. The office states that most insurance is accepted, with Medicare Advantage specifically included, which is less common among Warren dental practices than people assume. If you are on such a plan and considering dentures or implants, ask the front desk to check your specific plan's annual dental allowance before treatment begins, since coverage levels for major restorative work vary widely between carriers and between plan years.

As a first time, patient and someone who gets anxiety with regards to dental appointments. They made me feel incredibly comfortable. I could not be more impressed with my experience and will definitely be a patient of record moving forward.

The staff is the best. Very personable and caring. Dr. Goodman is the best dentist. Wherever I live I will travel to him. He’s kind, he really cares about you as a person and spends the time to get to know you, as an individual, not just a patient or client. And he’s gentle, always concerned if you understand everything, if you are comfortable, in any pain, just a good person and great dentist.

Shannon was my hygienist. I am so glad that she cleaned my teeth. She devoted extra time I felt and worked so deligently and was very professional. I felt very comfortable while I was in her care. I am thinking about setting up an extra cleaning on her recommendation as she suggested instead of me trying to get rid of tartar on my own.

I have been going to Universal Dental Center since I was 13 years old, and ever since then, they have treated me and my family with nothing but care, kindness, and professionalism. Over the years, they have truly become more than just a dental office to us — they feel like family. The staff always provides outstanding service and takes the time to give the best advice when it comes to dental health and proper care. They make every visit comfortable, welcoming, and stress-free. One thing that really stands out is how much they care about their patients’ experience. From the goodie bags after appointments to the gentle and precise cleanings, they always go above and beyond to make sure you feel appreciated and cared for. Another thing I love is the relaxing atmosphere they create by providing movies to watch during cleanings or procedures. It helps make every visit enjoyable and comforting, especially for younger patients or anyone who may feel nervous at the dentist. Universal Dental Center has consistently shown professionalism, compassion, and dedication throughout the many years my family and I have been patients there. I can confidently say this is my number one dental care place in the universe, no doubt about it. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional dental care and a team that truly cares about their patients. NO DOUBT 🔥🔥🦷🪥

I have been a patient of this dental practice for almost 30 years. That alone should tell you how pleased I am with the service and detailed attention you receive from this practice. From the time you check in at the front desk until you check out from your appointment you are treated with the most amazing care. Dr. Goodman is personable and at the same time the most professional. Debbie my hygienist is wonderful, she saved my teeth and I should have them well into my 90’s. Each and every supporting staff member devotes themselves the making sure you are well taken care of and delighted with your experience. So yes, I continue to recommend my family and friends to join me at Universal Dental.
