About University Dental Arts

Set up on Larimer Street in Denver, University Dental Arts runs as a general-dentistry practice set up for the everyday work most patients actually need. The clinic is built around the day-to-day work — not boutique marketing — and serves adults and kids in one familiar place. The shape of the practice fits patients who want a clear conversation about what's actually needed, with treatment staged around real priorities rather than a one-shot proposal on the first visit. If you're scoping a Denver dental option, this is a sensible practice to put on a short list of candidates and book a first visit with.

Service coverage spans the standard general-dentistry breadth: routine cleanings and exams, tooth-colored fillings, crowns and bridges, root canal treatment, basic extractions, and gum-disease management. The practice also handles minor cosmetic touch-ups like whitening and bonding when patients need them, alongside the routine preventive work. Restorations lean conservative — composite material rather than amalgam — and most needs are kept in-house, with specialty referrals reserved for cases that genuinely call for them rather than offered up front.

If you want straightforward dental care without aggressive treatment plans on the first visit, this clinic is set up around exactly that kind of patient.

Cost positioning sits in the typical Denver general-dentistry range, with most major insurance plans accepted and clear pretreatment estimates before restorative work begins. Patients searching for long-time family dentist in Denver, CO, affordable family dental care in Denver, or general dentistry in Denver, CO commonly land at neighborhood practices like this one — generalists rather than narrow specialty offices. It suits families wanting consistency over many years, patients who value predictable scheduling, and anyone who'd rather have one trusted dentist see the same teeth across decades than rotate through a corporate group practice. The Denver location works for patients already running errands in this part of Denver, and parking and transit access tend to be straightforward for the surrounding blocks.

University Dental Arts offers general dentistry on Larimer Street in the Central area of Denver, Colorado. The practice is open Tuesday through Friday. Use this page to see the full range of treatments listed and to get in touch about an appointment.

As someone who is (was?) terrified of the dentist Dr. Rabichev and team have made me less afraid of getting dental work done. They are willing to work with you on payment plans. Taylor and Carmen are phenomenal and made sure that I felt welcome and taken care of. They never made me feel self conscious of my teeth even with massive dental neglect growing up and as a young adult. Thank you UDA, you have a patient forever.

This is a new review. In the past, I have reviewed University Dental Arts and think that it is time to post an update. My experience warrants a 5 Star Rating. Being greeted by Krissy was a pleasure. She is capable, personable and professional. The Hygienist, Taylor is excellent. She is thorough, gives notice about what she is about to do. Taylor provides information about the health of your teeth and recommendations for the continuing good health or improved hygiene in care of your teeth. Taylor also has a good sense of humor. There is not enough space on this page to enumerate all the good things I have to say about Dr. Rabichev. His skills, care for patients, love for his work, confirming that patients are satisfied with their treatment and his efforts in making certain that he is performing his profession with the utmost guarantee of excellence are apparent. I have had other good dentists, that I have been pleased with. Dr. Rabichev is the best! The bottom line is that the entire staff is dedicated to the patients well-being and all seem very capable and caring. It is comforting, for me to know, that I am a patient in good, knowledgeable, caring and competent hands.

University Dental Arts is the best! From a friendly office staff, to a true professional, like Taylor, they help make a stressful experience less so. Also "Dr J" is great! What I like is the way he explains what he is doing during the procedure and what to expect next. Thank You UDA! Don M

I haven’t been to the dentist in a long time (since moving to Denver!) so of course I wanted to settle into a place where I could feel comfortable… EVERY single person who works here is incredibly nice and personable. I’ve had nothing but good experiences and very accommodating providers. I will say, this place seems quite expensive, even with my insurance coverage- I’m not positive what the average bear pays for dental work these days but seems a bit high. Regardless- I am glad I found a place that I feel like I can trust and I feel as though I am being well taken care of.

A great experience at the dentist ( Maybe not a popular saying), but the atmosphere is very stylish with water and coffee available. The hygienist was incredibly encouraging and reassuring. She even gave me an avocado stress ball to aid me through my treatment. I knew exactly what I would be paying for and all of my options for specializations. University Dental Arts thank you for your transparency, professionalism, and care. My mouth feels new and gives me a fresh opportunity to care for it better on my own. Recommending this office.

Be careful here folks. Similar to a few other reviews this place is very sales driven. I came here recently for a cleaning and check up after my usual dentist was booked out too far. During the exam I was informed I had some cavities and needed crowns to the tune of $2K+. I have really good oral hygiene and the past two years bounced around to several dentists as I was doing the remote-work-digital nomad thing. Funny thing is during that time I saw 3 different dentists and not a single one noted any of these needs and I go every 6 months. I took the treatment plan into my usual dentist here in Denver and as anticipated he said I needed none of the recommended items. He couldn't even find the cavities this place identified. I imagine the staff will respond saying they only recommend what is clinically necessary. My dentist of 15 years didn't feel any of it was necessary and I trust his recommendations all day over this place. The people are all very nice and care about your comfort, but I'd consider getting a second opinion on any "clinically necessary" treatment plans.

This place is great! They were able to get me in as a new patient within a few days, while a few other offices in the area were booked out several months. The hygienist was very thorough and explained everything she was doing. Overall, a very clean, efficient, and friendly office!

I used to have a fear of Dentist but with how friendly everyone here is from the front desk ladies to the dental hygienists and even the dentist Dr.Rabichev, I honestly always have a great experience with everyone every time I come! They are very friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they care deeply about patient health and patient services which can be rare in heath care. It eases the fear I have and now I can know I’m getting good care with kind people who care. They also work with budgets and help find out what works with insurance and what doesn’t before any work is done.
