About University Heights Family Dentistry
University Heights Family Dentistry is a general dentistry practice on Kendall Drive in the Ridgeline area of San Bernardino, offering routine and restorative family dental care for patients across the surrounding neighborhoods. As a general practice, it's built around ongoing family relationships rather than one-off, single-procedure visits. The Ridgeline neighborhood has grown into one of San Bernardino's newer residential pockets, and a general dentistry option nearby saves residents a longer drive toward the older parts of the city for routine and restorative care alike.
Patients researching a family dental practice near University Heights, or general dentistry along Kendall Drive, will find cleanings, exams, fillings, crowns, root canals, and basic extractions handled in-house as part of a broader general-dentistry program. That in-house range covers most of what comes up across a family's dental care in a given year, from a child's routine cleaning to a parent's crown or filling, without needing a separate referral for the common cases that make up most of a family's actual dental history over the years rather than the rarer procedures that tend to dominate marketing.
If you're in the University Heights area of San Bernardino and want a family dentist close to home along Kendall Drive, this practice is worth a first visit.
Cost for dental treatment depends on the specific procedure, so it's worth asking directly what a given visit or treatment plan runs rather than assuming a flat rate. For University Heights-area families weighing where to anchor their long-term dental care, or anyone searching for a dentist for the whole family in this part of San Bernardino, University Heights Family Dentistry's neighborhood location and general-dentistry scope make it a reasonable option to add to that shortlist before settling on a regular provider for the whole family, from routine checkups through more involved restorative work spanning years of ongoing dental care.

They are always professional and kind. They have good etiquette. Everytime my experience has been 5 stars!
I was honestly about to leave the office after reading some negative Google reviews. I had been referred here by Little Smile Dentistry and didn’t do much research beforehand I just scheduled an appointment for my daughter to have all four of her wisdom teeth removed. While sitting in the waiting room, I started second-guessing my decision and was ready to walk out. Thankfully, the front office staff member, Melanie, noticed and kindly asked if everything was okay. I explained my concerns, and she was very understanding. She reassured me and took the time to make me feel comfortable staying, which I really appreciated. I’m so glad I did. The person who removed my daughter’s wisdom teeth, Jose, was incredibly kind and professional. He made both of us feel at ease, especially my daughter, who was very nervous. The procedure was quick—no more than 10 minutes—and went smoothly. The wait time was also reasonable, about 15–20 minutes, which is better than many other clinics I’ve been to. Overall, even though it’s a small clinic, the entire team was professional, caring, and efficient. They treated my daughter very well, and I’m happy we stayed. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to others.
Great, fast and efficient service. Definitely recommend.
Male in the back was extremely aggressive and rude to a female worker in the back Told her she had no common sense. Not my first time witnessing him tell workers disrespectful stuff.
Well I was there 10 minutes early, to a tiny waiting room. Lots of employees walking around, however no one at the front window. A few minutes later they pushed a clipboard in front of me to sign in ( without saying a word). Later I signed the typical forms for a first time visit and an employee quickly said sorry for taking so long. I finally went to the back area for x rays, talk about being uncomfortable, there was quite a few work areas and no walls between clients ! The x ray area was right next to the restroom ( one ft away), I was sitting down in the chair and had to move my knee so an employee could open some drawers ( this area was so cramped! Then I was moved to another area and was told my insurance did not cover the area new crown, at this point I did not want them to do any work on me. I should note that in this area they did have portable accordion curtains in between clients. They said my insurance covered a cleaning however they only polished my teeth ( took approximately TWO minutes), and basically kicked me out!!! Not once did they asked if I wanted to pay cash to get treated. lol, I would have refused to have this office do any work on me ! This office got two stars because at least it was clean. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone !!!
They never gave me my wisdom teeth they pulled out, don’t they cost money? I just hope y’all did not give my teeth away to anyone. Because those are still my teeth, very unprofessional of you guys to not give me my 4 wisdom teeth in a container or something. I Do not recommend coming here at all. Also I didn’t ask for them because I was not in my full senses. Also they removed old filling and put new ones but they did not do a good job. I will be going to a different dentist. This is by far the most unprofessional one. They want to charge me 500 dollars for new fillings that I need, they say it’s for “ cosmetics”. Either way I don’t want them to do it because the other fillings they did are causing problems. THANKS ALOT.
My daughters were seen here for fillings.they were in n out pretty quickly and the staff is always very nice. The dentist was gentle with my little one. Overall pleasant experience
